Here is my experience from seeing him in person. Northlake had a bunch of small kids playing the line and he was a non factor until the QB basically threw him the ball on the 20 yard line.

Thoughts on him from Sept 2017

And this is why he is now leaning towards LSU.

Is he though? I haven’t heard that. Just wondering if you know something.

Not good, not good at all. It's one thing to act like that during the season but it's a whole other to do it in these camp settings when the competition is up. Not a good sign at all. I just don't like putting guys like this on my team. He can get in the way of how things are done. I guess you get him in hopes that the team can change his act. I just hate seeing that.

Sopsher is ranked as highly as he is because of more tgan a few different reasons. At this point in the 2019 prospects football rankings, the top level/elite talent guys have been identified and are not just one or two different services have them so high but virtually every single recruiting site from the biggest to the smallest are all in agreement about the top 30-50 players at least for the most part. This is even more of a sure thing and meticulously gone over type of ranking that the top 10-15 are in a class of their own in the minds of about anyone who knows anything. And if a prospect is ranked as the number one overall national prospect and is in the top 7 or so in every service then that player is not just a good one, but he is all but assured to be the next superstar at whatever program he ends up at. There are some outright misses and there are some guys that just for whatever reason never get past being an average player. But for the most part those top 5-10 guys are going to be day one starters at the big time program they are at and usually start to flash that star power early and by seasons end are a known commodity. Sopsher is the consensus top ranked defensive tackle and is a top 8 prospect nationally, so this means that whatever you are trying to convince yourself of about the supposed underlying negative traits that are apparently will lead up to the kid becoming a miss and a bust is not just wrong but it is a product of having the belief inside your head and heart that LSU isn't going to sign him. You are giving yourself some sort of justification as to why losing him is ok and you're doing it before the season has even gotten less than two months from starting. If you want to say you aren't able to to reconcile the loss of sopsher then say it...but don't make up some sort of magical negative traits to make it ok if and when we lose him. Sopsher is a very high level talent and is going to be a dominant tackle in the FBS. LSU would be more than willing to give this kid the keys to the castle to get him here and will absolutely roll out every possible perk they can during this time between now and NSD. I will be furious to see us not get the job done yet again witg the states top defensive player or our top ranked defensive player on our board....Surtain, Moses, Collins, and the list goes on...I'm tired of watching these kids go elsewhere and believe me when i say that I'm an adukt enough to say it will be a total devastatingly hard punch in the fanbases collective ball sack if he goes to bama. Because he's going to be starting as a freshmen at LSU and anywhere else if he signs with us or them. But at Bama like most other top ranked defensive lineman that go into the bame program, sopsher will sit one or maybe two full years before getting on the field. This has been the case for nearly every single elite level player that gets added to the tide defense. It took Deshawn hand two years, took Dylan moses two years, ashawn Robinson, etc...and Sopsher woukd fit right in with that. Because unlike this very football take says.....Sopsher is an amazing prospect and has the potential to be a future superstar and go very highly in the NFL draft in his true junior year. Which he will for what it's worth.

Let's stop trying to soft the blow that is when sopsher chooses bama if that were to be the case. Which is the case if you pay any attention...it's us and them. And I'm not gonna act like sopsher isn't as elite as he is and as blue chip as literally every single writer and scout also says he is...all because I'm too much of a little bitch to show my despair to you idiots on here.

This topic is a joke and makes us all look like a bunch of damn pussies. Please for the love of god will an admin take this seriously bitch arse topic off the board please. Some of us have enough dignity to feel like this type of stuff is just cowards being cowards....Or you know keep letting us look like a bunch of babies oh about 8 months in advance of the time when the true babies will rush the board and show us to be that much worse if sopsher does book it. The bar wasn't set very high but all of you just came in far under it and that is just a damn joke...Dogging the top overall guy in the class and state because he might take his talents to Bama over us...its freaking pathetic guys and you should have your fan cards revoked for such cowardice. Always a good time for some new lows eh boys? Goddamn bunch of Sandy vaginas and nothing more. That's you guys. Vaginas with a bunch of itchy sand all over them.

I mean...if you’re going to write a wall of text to convince of us something, at least know what in the hell you are talking about. None of the 3 guys you talked about here sat two years before getting on the field. Every one of them played as freshmen. shite, Dylan Moses was a freshman last year.

From the little I did see of him, I have no idea what they're talking about bc he looked pretty damn good to me against the best. Maybe he just doesn't want to injure himself so he doesn't give a frick until he comes up against another 5* guy.

The guy is strong as an Ox and can move for as big as he is. I'm really not concerned at all bc he will either have to tune the juice up in college or never play. I think he's the type that turns it up when push comes to shove.

I know one thing, if I'm this staff I'm going after two more guys besides Sopsher that's nearly as good so if he doesn't sign we still have our numbers. I wouldn't take just anyone either. Go after guys you can get and are extremly talented. If he commits it will just be icing on the cake.
