There is definitely a difference between people that understand the process and have the patience to see how things play out, and those that live off of daily stimulation of good news.
There are desperate programs that will pay more than a player is worth for PR purposes only. Additionally, there are plenty of discussions happening with current players who are testing the free agent market and may or may not leave based on how much they can get. At the end of the day, we want LSU to spend big when it makes sense and will add value to the program and not throw the LSU locker room into a mess.

Well that’s two very different things particularly because they can sign whenever with the portal (technically I don’t even think they have to sign they just enroll) but even still who is committed?
