He realizes it, he’s just a fraud and a liar. Earlier this year he was touting LSU’s recruiting ranking based on... stars.

Roy is a must get, he’s gonna have a better career than Sopsher.

Probably would compete to start day 1. He is a must get at DE.

Will be a 5 star when it’s all said and done.

But you’re giving him too much credit, he’s not intelligent enough to realize he’s always contradicting himself. He does lie a lot but its because he has the mind of a little boy and it’s usually to tie his fantasies together or cover for the dumb shite he says.

You don’t win consistently without a good O-Line. That should be priority Number One!

Ben Coleman you come off as not very smart when it comes to recruiting. So according to your logic he will be good player based on having no fat. I have read page after page of you talking recruiting and the more you type the more i am convinced you have no understanding of why LSU is in the position of having so many issues on the lines in recruiting

m pretty sure that Clemson had either two or three 3 star players on their offensive line.

Why do you think that a three star developed properly can't compete with a 5 star.

They can. For me it's because of posters like you. Basically shat on the last coach saying team needs a rebuild and look how Ed rebuilt the roster. He didn't, he's kept us mostly at the same level, swap losing to arky with Tamu.

......3-Star and JUCO Offensive Linemen? Pancake Partners. I can just imagine Bama Defensive Lineman having a field day pancaking LSU OL while Joe runs for his life. That Joe Brady Saints Style Passing Game better be fast...really fast. I realize Saban has the 5 and 4 Star OL talent in Louisiana pretty much locked up but maybe Coach Eaux needs to find 5 & 4-Star OL talent somewhere else. Lets not fool ourselves he's going to need talent on that OL, especially at Right Tackle. A couple of injuries and........

Wisconsin seems to regularly put out highly rated O-lines. How many of their guys have been 5 stars?

Damone - You are a Lefty Dem, correct? You accuse others of the things YOU are guilty of.

Recruiting stars are far more accurate for skill positions (as I just said on the previous page).

Again, you Circle Jerks resort to word games when you are outed for your low football IQs. You twist word to claim someone had a contradiction, then pivot away from the discussion you have face-planted in. LOL

And the link on the toughest position group to rank (O-Line):

quote:

valuation: Most offensive linemen are not 6'5, 300 pounds coming out of high school. Among 2014's 25 blue-chip tackles on the 247Sports Composite, only 10 are already listed at 300, and lesser prospects are likely to be smaller.

That means projecting the future frames of 16- to 18-year-olds and those players' willingness to pack on the needed weight and power (if that sounds easy, consider that 2013 No. 1 NFL Draft pick Eric Fisher gained 70 pounds in college after weighing 250 as a two-star prospect). And that takes time. The instances of freshmen starting on offensive lines are particularly rare, as a good line is usually built with upperclassmen. Coaches hope most linemen will emerge ready to contribute after two or three years in the program.

LINK

A lot of 5-Star linemen ride the pine... or ride the Greyhound out of their program because the don't have the crazy commitment necessary to develop into top-tier linemen

I think everyone can agree LSU has to get better along both lines to reach the potential we all want to see. O and Company are getting their shot to do that.

If he can’t accomplish that he will be looking for other work soon enough.

Might as well support him and his evals until proven otherwise.

Everybody is excited right now and going to downvote you.... After laying another egg against Bama, it'll become the excuse going into the off-season again.

I take this to mean we won't make the playoff if we lose to Bama.

I disagree If Bama is the only loss we are in.

i know, right... we should be getting 5 star recruits like Trenton Thompson, Kahlil McKenzie, Kenny Bigelow, Keisean Lucier-South, Eddie Vanderdoes, Terry Beckner, Oluwole Betiku, McTelvin Agim, Canton Kaumatule, etc...

i mean those guys had illustrious careers b/c they were 5 star recruits....

shite, just from Louisiana, former 3 star recruits include Bennie Logan, Alfred Blue, Dak Prescott, Deion Jones, Duke Riley, Elijah McGuire, Carlos Henderson, D.J. Chark, Russell Gage, Jaylon Ferguson, Justin Reid, Cody Ford, Tyson Jackson, Brandon Bolden, Andre Hal, Trai Turner, Jalen Richard, etc...

hell, Mike Wallace was once the highest paid WR in the NFL, he was 2 star.... as was Tracy Porter, who sealed the Saints' Super Bowl win... and again, those are just guys from this state!
