Bubby Brister,Bob Lane,Steve Haynes,Johnny Booty, Trey Prather,Arnez Battle,Brock Berlin,Joel Thomas. Only David Woodley and he played on bad Byrd teams with marginal stats. Go figure!

Humphreys was from Southwood.
Woodley was from Byrd. He played on a bad team but he had good numbers as a rusher.
Trey Prather was a great QB from Woodlawn who was killed in V.N.

Prather,Bradshaw and Ferguson all on the same team. Booty was frosh. Humphries won national championship. Any other players from S'Port/Bossier impact LSU besides Woodley.B.Harris,T.Moss or W.Davis?

No doubt that West Monroe and Evangel put out a lot of players. Academics aren't exactly strong at Evangel. Their valedictorian made a 17 one year on the ACT! Other than a couple of guys not many of them have played much beyond college, with only a couple of guys standing out in college. Perhaps the biggest Evangel star ever, a DL from the 1990's did prison time in California for armed robbery. Haven't met too many successful people from either high school.

Not much impact but some I forgot. Maybe pre '60s but after that?

while that was a wide practice in the mid to late 90's these guys turned 19 their senor years, but since the hold back rule was put into place it doesn't happen nearly as much anymore, because you can no longer holdback in junior high... but you can before 6th grade and sadly that does still happen
