I’d almost feel bad if they weren’t such baby back bitches since Lane left them.

He looks like he'd be played by Paul Walter Hauser in the made for TV movie about the collapse of Ole Miss.

The fact that they rushed into hiring Golding off all people instead of actually holding a legit coaching search is crazy

It was such a rash decision and I understand why they made it but damn. I'm not gonna play holy roller but your head coach just casually cursing in every press conference can't inspire confidence. It's honestly like if LSU hired some rando off this board to coach. I'm not surprised he won against Tulane and UGA but this isn't gonna hold up over time. He comes across as a poor mans Orgeron, and I probably like O more than most.

It was the best chance they had at keeping things together and making a run at it this year.

No matter who the coach was next year they are bound to take a step back.
I’m sure Goldings buyout ain’t much. They will hold a full search end of next season.

I think it was the right decision for OM. They coulda hired the best coach available and they still won’t get as close as they were this year.

He did do one thing. He got rid of the basketball goals on the sideline!

Losing your head coach before the playoffs, teams could fall apart. But seems Golding was smart to figure out how to use that to motivate them
