What's to say that Benton, the same cat that it's taken 3 years to get into LSU, got the damned story wrong! I mean, it's not a long shot to say he may have a little difficulty with audio recall. Hopefully, the Randle's would make the effort to substantiate any conflicting statements.

It's not like they are claiming that LSU told Randle he would be a receiver and then told Benton that they were moving Randle to cornerback. SUPPOSEDLY, the talked about different players they would be competing against.

I wanted Randle, but Benton is better at football, just not in the classroom.

Frankly, I don't see how this is that big of a deal. Sounds like a mountain out of molehill to me. So they told one guy one thing and another guy another thing. Maybe the coaches changed their mind. Maybe they mispoke. Honestly, who would care about this? Nothing is guaranteed until they see them on the field. That's true for anybody. I don't get this. Something's really fishy here.
