I have no problem with the kid deciding to go to the school he thought was the best fit for him. Going to bama is the cool thing to do now and so we lost a player. Oh well.

The part that gets me is the timing. The timing is very suspect. Coach O had all of his eggs in one basket. The Surtain basket. And it wasn't a secret. So Saban knew that if he could get Surtain to wait until the last minute, he could take Coach O's basket and leave LSU with no eggs. Not a great plan on O's part.

I don't think it's a great idea to go all in on one prospect. I don't care how good he is and I don't care if he's telling you he's coming for 2 years.

there would have been outrage yes, there is anytime LSU loses a recruit. Its still lingering because of the issues with your depth chart after leaving all of your eggs in the basket of surtain. I think it was fricking stupid regardless to only have 1 CB in this class

I don't know what your point is.

They missed on two highly rated guys when they could've had at least one of them. Yeah people may have trashed O for putting Goodrich ahead of PS2, but bottom line, our numbers would've been better.

Is your point that he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't? Wah wah, I weep for him. He's the one that calls himself such a great recruiter. He should be held to a high standard since that's all he has to do anyway.

I agree completely..

Do you think 2 CBs would have been enough, or do you think they should have signed more?

I literally put in quotes the assumptions you were making and then you went on some other rant.

I'll do it again for you

quote:

You want me to believe the poor little groupie and his daddy just decided at 11 pm the night before signing day he was going to a different school?

However, you don't want to believe, had lsu known this before, they would not have made the offer to Goodrich?

I think he visited Bama way before 11 p.m., had in home visits with both schools way before 11 p.m. but couldn't tell either school where he was leaning? However, two weeks before, he tells a recruiting service he had a pretty good idea what he was going to do but would announce on signing day.

These are all things you're assuming to justify your hissy fit and attack their character

I responded to what was in quotes and you provided nothing to support.

[quote]it's documented that when he called, lsu got on the phone with Goodrich. It's documented he called at 11 pm, it's documented he told the recruiting service he had a good idea what he was going to do. It's documented he was leaning to lsu for two years. It's documented Jarvis landry called him a groupie. [/quo

I just got confirmation that Raymond is in fact leaving.

So, that could have something to do with it.

Just another groupie that wants to suck Saban’s dick.

Destroys LSU’s class and doesn’t even have the decency to give us a couple days to offer the spot elsewhere.

your whole basis is that he knew all along Bama was his pick and he was simply stringing LSU along and let them know in the 11th hour that he was out. There's nothing to support that theory except "what you believe"

Think about it for a second. A coach who is like family to a recruit. You don't think he couldn't tell this kid he was/wasn't leaving. Why would Raymond lie?

My source spoke to Raymond directly. My source has even sent me screenshots of an email from Coach Raymond that explained that Canada was gone 3-4 weeks before it happened when everyone was on here with their fingers in their ears screaming la-la-la.

I was just as stubborn as you not to believe him before he sent me the fricking email. He has no reason to lie.

What about when he told the service he had a good idea what he was going to do but was going to wait until signing day?

Is that an assumption that he knew what he was going to do but decided to wait? Or is that fact that he said that and did what he said?

I'm taking him at his word.

assuming this meant Bama is pretty much the very definition of an assumption on your part

I took him at his word. If I assumed anything it's that he did what he said he was going to do.

You're "assuming" he didn't do what he said he was going to do. That's the definition of hypocrisy isn't it?

As soon as he got back from Alabama and they found out he had a good visit and was wavering. As soon as good rich want to commit they should’ve took it I left Surtaain I’m the cold
