He was a projected first round pick and it was his money year. If that can’t motivate you nothing will. Don’t say y’all weren’t warned.
I don't know why you're getting downvoted. He was projected to go to the draft.
Dude is a menace if he is motivated. Let's just hope he is. He does seem like a knucklehead.

On3 the only ones that don’t want to confirm it

It should be elite, eating top 10. Between the new additions and the guys coming back, and if we can get even 1 good safety in portal, this should be a top 10 defense.

Ole miss took 26 transfer last year. LSU is at half that.

I'm now on board with faint whispers of legitimate Championship type talk. Secure a pair of solid safeties and a starting LT, you start to wonder if Nuss puts it together, this iteration of a team can realistically attempt to emulate 2019's blueprint...
Come close or surpass such a lofty endeavor? Not a chance, this team doesnt have two likely NFL Hall of Famers at wideout coupled with a QB who's confidence and moxie was all-time great and left you without a shadow of a doubt that team was winning a championship and easily, I might add.
BUT, this upcoming 2025 team can be good enough to secure their place as bonafide contenders come next winter...
BK knew his chance to win in a certain window was now if he got Nuss back and shore up positions of impact on winning... He put a bullseye on himself with the taking receipts/meet you in the chip quote, but I guess that's him knowing HE HAS to produce. It's his and this institution's reasoning for coming together... He knows every coach since Saban has won a chip. He is EXPECTED to do the same in exchange for a n annual salary commensurate with consideration as one of the best in the sport.
It appears he will have all the pieces needed to put the burden on him and his coaching prowess. No excuses.

Per espn:
Payton from FSU has 1 year eligibility. "He is #1 DE and #12 overall player in transfer rankings. 6'5" 250 lb pass rusher was viewed as early round NFL draft pick. 2022 ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year recorded 80 pressures, 31.5 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, 13 pass breakups the past 3 seasons.
LSU has signed 4 of the top 12 from the transfer portal."

anyone knows why on3 hasnt confirmed PP’s commitment yet? just curious

Seems like they wait for the paperwork to clear and for the school to announce it.

On3 won’t officially confirm anything until the player announces it himself. They want them to “have their moment” but look at Shea’s rpm. He wouldn’t have placed it if he wasn’t coming.

I’m anxious to see what the new and young DTs like McKinley are going to do in this bowl game because the last few starts he’s had, he’s looked unmovable. Looks a lot like Brockers in 2011, just unmovable and athletic. I’m also curious how they will use the new big guy up front. I’d imagine that he will be used for certain packages like the 3 man fronts and short yardage/goalline situations. I’m hoping that safety sticks and doesn’t decide to enter the draft. If we keep all these transfers, we should be a top 25 defense next year. I also think that center we just picked up will make a huge impact on this OL. It allows us to play everyone at their natural positions. The WRs look good as well. I’d probably pick up another DT, OL and DB.

LSU's success rate with portal players far exceeds their success rate with high schoolers.

thought having a team full of mercenaries doesn’t work? That’s what was said on here about Ole Miss repeatedly last year and this year.
Ole Miss had like 20 transfer starters this season. Not exactly apples to apples.
