5* CB just flipped from OSU to Oregon.
They’re probably throwing out absurd money as a Hail Mary.
Stay fricking strong DJ!

That might actually be a positive for us in Pickett's case.

Wait just a damn minute! I thought only LSU lost five star players via late flips ??

On3 is talking about how relentless their staff is in recruiting with Lanning at the helm.
One of the guys tried to say smoke on Stewart and the other 3 told him to slow down with all that

fricking shameless . They act like Lanning is a recruiting god and they aren't just throwing frick tons of money at all these kids.
I hope they enjoy being mortgaged to the tits for a bunch of teenagers who will inevitably leverage them for even more money.

That’s my thought as well. Oregon has a big budget, but it’s still not unlimited. I’m not sure they’d allocate big bucks to two 5* CB when they are spending big at other positions as well. It’s why LSU didn’t dig deeper on Phillips.

Say what you want about Saban, but Lanning, like K. Smart, know the process & the grind. Of course in today's NIL market, having that NIKE blank check in OR helps being relentless...

It ain’t Oregon, it would be Miami or Florida

Right? While simultaneously reporting on the amount of money certain kids are getting.
The gig is up yall. We know it’s pay for play so we can stop pretending anyone is beating anyone else by out-recruiting them.

They couldn’t get Pickett so they went for offord

Phil Knight said it is unlimited. He wants a championship before he dies and he is 86 years old.

They have 3 of the top 7 corners in the country on the On3 composite. That must have cost a few pennies.

Yea. Makes me feel even better about Pickett if he was Oregon's first choice to try and flip.

If that were really true, they would have every 5* player in the country signed.

I mean, they can throw a ton of money at the kids and Lanning can be a really good recruiter. Those things aren't mutually exclusive.

You think that will only happen at Oregon?

I really, really hope Phil Knight dies before they win anything.
