Ford seems like a good dude, a team first community first guy. ask him something that gets him to talk more on that, give him a chance to showcase his character (just going by what i saw in the dome but he really gave off that vibe)

I spoke to Coach Zachery on the Monday after the Dome win. Told him I was at that Lakeshore game with a NI contingent, friends of Indest
Brent stole that game and said so afterwards. He knew he was outmanned, but it was nowhere near what he almost pulled off w CHNI vs Calvary in the Dome, when got one drive away from gimmicking that one on guard arounds
But back to Opelousas, congratulated Coach on what he’s done there. Most know that Opelousas has the athletes, it’s just getting them on the field. When I asked him how he turned things around, he said one word.
Structure. He’s a solid guy that will be around awhile. I mentioned LB on Ford and he said there’s a good chance that’s where he’ll be at the next level, and would do well.

OHS has always had potential as long as someone could recruit the hallways of the school.
I’m glad they got a guy from the town and the school that cares about it and wants to see it reach that potential.
I played one summer of baseball with Jimmy in the Opelousas parks system. I don’t remember if he was my age or a year older but he was at OHS with Devery Henderson.

I interviewed his head coach Jimmy Zachery. We're going to get D'Shaun on the phone early next week to get a few comments from him.
Coach said Ford loves playing defense. Went both ways in middle school.

Would love to see him on D at LB. Our RB room is stacked and that could be his ticket to earlier playing time
