Ah didn’t realize he was projected to play CB at LSU. Fair enough.

But I'm still with you in that we need all the DBs we can get.

He’s also 3x Academic All-Big 12 in pre-veterinary science.

LSU vet school is one of the best in the country. Another reason this should be a no-brainer.

I'd wait to see what else hits the portal. There will be MANY more great options after Spring ball.

With the amount of talent or lack of talent in the secondary this past year you absolutely take a quality player even if it is for one year

Don’t know if it was mentioned or not, but Billy Embody expects us to land him.

Being an all Big 12 corner means that SEC receivers will only run by him half the time... not all the time.

We definitely can use a plug in and play guy like Cinverse

Yes I was half joking on the Big 12.... you definitely evaluate his tape and if he can do it, damn strong offer him.. We have a gap at cornerback that we need to fill with the best player available, one season of eligibility or not.

This is the most important thing for the staff to get done right now.

Add Bernard-Converse by Monday, and then close Jacoby Matthews, and pretty much everything else is gravy until after spring practice when you can get a tight end and a linebacker.

I have 1300 posts in 18 years. I'm guessing I really have half that many posts. I think I would manage.

I realize we have no CBs. However a 1 year fix for a serious depth problem is not the way to go. There will be more great CBs to hit the portal in the next handful of months. A 1 and done player is not what we need.

He’s an instant starter at a high impact position with little depth. Right now he’s exactly what we need. We’re looking for players who can help immediately while we lay the groundwork for the Class of 2023.

Sounds like someone at the vet school needs a talking to. Play for the tigers, get offered admission into the vet school after your NFL career in case of injury or doesn't pan out, and then work on a tiger.

Its going to take both types of players in order to fix the issue. Bringing in younger guys with more years to play is nice but it doesn't help you get experienced players on the field.

So then our returning scholarship corners for 2022 turn into:
- Jay Ward (SR, 2 yrs remaining, currently listed as a safety)
- Raydarious Jones (RS-SO, 3 yrs remaining, supposedly at risk to transfer)
- Damarious McGhee (SO, 3 yrs remaining)

Is Pig Cage not a CB? Not on scholarship?

Any buzz on him following Knowles to tOSU? Ohio State has one of the best vet schools in the country.

Believe he was a walkon for the '21 season. No reason for him not to be on scholarship for '22 season.
