Nobody talks about transferring class credits from school to school

A lot universities have strict guidelines on what classes they will accept from another university
How many of these kids are thinking about their education?
1% make the NFL
Student Athlete
How does the portal and ability to transfer impact admissions departments?
Is it a given they just if they want to transfer they’re going to be admitted and all course credits are taken?
It just seems like term student athlete is no longer used on TV or among coaches
Since most of these players are not ever going to sniff the NFL. What in the world, are we doing about the transfer of school credits so that they graduate?
Curious how ugly this is at this time?
Does anyone care anymore?

That hasn’t mattered for college athletes in 30 years

The math says my question deserves a serious answer

Phil Loadholt was less than 30 years ago.

For every Joe Burrow or Daniels
500 transfer and are never drafted
Somebody needs to start getting us back to why universities exist

That’s why Kiffin and his gf broke up, her credits from Ole Miss wouldn’t transfer to LSU.

Not sure why the responses are filled with sarcasm
99 percent of P5 players don’t make the NFL

I’ve seen an engineering student with 1 year left transfer to a top 10 program as a 5th year RS Sr and be forced to switch to social work major to be eligible.
It’s pretty sad really.

But how many are making 6figures+ now playing college ball? Granted not all will save much of it, but to them that’s enough for now.
My thing is how schools are allowed to do this. Actual students should get pretty upset with how it’s being done. Students that get their transfers rejected should be too. Possible legal action.

Because no one gives a shite.
1.) Players lost the sympathy of being poor student athletes when they started getting paid and jumping from school to school for the highest dollar. They don't give a shite about school, why should we give a shite about their education?
2.) These are grown, college aged men. They aren't some poor victims. They question shouldn't be why don't we care. The question should be why don't they care. They are so adamant that we "respekt!" their decision, they can be responsible for those decisions too.

I don't know that ALL credits are taken, but it sure seems like enough are taken for the kids that keep portal-hopping to remain eligible.
Case in point: one of the announcers last night pointed out a player had played on both sides of the Iron Bowl. And now he was at Ole Miss.

We don’t ticket people for speeding. We don’t arrest people for shoplifting. You can set up a tent to live in the middle of town and people barely bat an eye. College credits? Do they even go to class now?

Classes?
School?
What in the hell does that have to do with anything?
