My Remaining Football Recruiting Wish List… I’m sure there are others which I’m unaware.

—Regroup with Austin Thomas per NIL to generate package regarding further enticement of QB commit we lost to Oklahoma).
Again, I’m sure there are others I’m missing.

I think LSU lands Gray and Matthews.
I want to believe that they flip Bradford but I’m not getting my hopes up.
It would probably take an absolutely ridiculous money offer to pull the QB recruit from OU since that is his home.

That will depend on Venables record this year. I’m not sure OU will tolerate another 6-6 type season.
LSU will look to flip a QB this season as Nuss development and the talent stacked will be too appealing for a QB…but you can’t pass 2 years running on bringing in a HS QB.

All eyes have to turn to Bradford now. His older brother is on the team, he’s a BR kid, and he’s the best at a position that we need to solidify.
If we miss on Mathews, Roderick Tezeno out of Opelousas Catholic is another that I’d person love to see in P&G. Go watch his film, the kid can jump out of the gym and he catches everything.
DeMarcus Johnson is a massive sized man but I don’t know if he has a spot on the DL now but I’d find a spot for him. JaMichael Garrett the LB out if Central has to be in a short list considering he a in state kid and the lack of commitments at the position.

don’t have a linebacker in the class or a running back, maybe after senior evals you target one of each in addition to the ones you said above. jamichael garrett the louisiana linebacker seems like a good option

There were actually 3 people named Hobely in LSU lore.
Liffort Hobley, who played football for LSU from 1980 to 1984. H redshirted in 1981 but played as both a punt returner and a safety. He was not a great punt returner, but he had 11 career interceptions for LSU, 6 in his senior season. He had a 10-year NFL career. Side note, unrelated to LSU, his brother Billy Ray Hobley had a 20-year career with the Harlem Globetrotters.
Liffort's son, Wayne (Liffort Wayne Hobley, II), was part of the LSU track team that won the 4×200 and 4×400 indoor relay titles and the 4×200 outdoor relay title in 2006.
But the most famous, or maybe notorious, Hobley is the fictional Ratphuc Hobley. The story I have most consistently heard is that someone emailed to give him the scoop on Ratphuc, an imaginary 5* recruit, and he ran with it and published it. I have also heard someone called into Buddy Songy to ask about him, and he supposedly ran with it, praising Hobley's skills. I cannot verify either is correct or fully accurate, but I still laugh at it all

God i will pay Bowe Bentley right now over the possibility of guys not wanting to come to LSU in 2027. Usually you have some kind of good news regarding the top guys the year before, but im not hearing shite. We were at the very least HEAVY in the top of Julian Sayin and Bryce Underwood the year prior to their final decisions.
Keep working Bentley. Show him Nuss balling out of control.

I am not getting hopes up either but 3 wks ago he was a social media ghost to LSU. Now he is showing up in LSU related threads. Door is at least cracked
