Not sure what you’re getting at. None of those guys went to Westgate? Or are even from Louisiana.

Surprised that I missed this (IF TRUE). Seems it would have been a major thread on tRant.

Apparently the dt we were after in the portal who went to Miami, Taylor told him lsu doesn't pay Nil, if you come to Miami we will give you what you want. Taylor bashed lsu some also. Miami payed alot if money for this transfer class. The issue is most are 1 year rentals and they will be rebuilding the next year.

Link?

He is employed by UM so I am sure there is a nornal amount of trash talk no one should even be upset about.

No. Not a winning strategy. Kids are immature a lot of the time. Give him a landing spot

if this is true wouldn’t his own son hit the portal to get a payday at his dad Alma Mater? I’m smelling BS here.

Strange that Amazon chose LSU for the first NIL documentary.

Must be LSU just doesn’t pay average DTs more than they are worth. They developed athletes into household names nationally turning them into NIL stars.

All of those guys are retired and have been for many years. Recruits now have never seen any of them play a down of football.

Jason Taylor’s alma mater is Akron. He played professionally in Miami and coaches for University of Miami

The producer probably insisted on LSU.

What’s your sauces, you talked to DT from Mich St or you just figuring that went down. This same DT was hesitant when he got there talking funny money. We got Mason’s mom we don’t need stinking Jason T.

That school has never produced winners at the next level.

Jared Mitchell and Josh Boutte did well at LSU. Kayshon Boutte had some great moments. Their DC, Tyrunn Walker, is a Westgate grad who played for years in the NFL.

DeMyrion Johnson is a true freshman at LSU.

Fortunately coaches don't wallow in resentment like some of you people when it comes to recruiting. Its always a fluid situation and they learn to ride the waves when dealing with 18 year old kids making the biggest decision of their lives. There is no reason to bash them and make petty remarks because you are butt hurt over their decisions.

It's pretty fricking pathetic how grown (often middle aged men) hold grudges against some kid for making a decision that doesn't align with their fandom. Especially in a recruiting/decision world that is difficult enough to navigate for someone who would be much older and wiser. Like their lives have got to fricking suck to have that much vitriol.

He was talking about Westgate, not Miami. However, when was the last year Miami had a player taken in the first round ? I remember they went through a pretty rough stretch after LSU went scorched earth on them in i think it was the Sugar bowl.

Nuked that once proud program back to the fricking stone age. And they still havent really recovered, in like what, 15 years later ?
