Also Nwoko is currently the only player on this past team Wade wants to return

Interesting. Nwoko with some Stansbury coaching could be worth seeing.

Learning how to pickup switches and play D away from the basket without fouling will be the big test for him. Also needs to be moved to the 4, he’s not a Center. Listed at 6-10 but is closer to 6-8.

Foxwell flipped his commitment to Wisconsin. Forgot to update that yesterday. Sorry if someone has already posted this.

Payne would be a nice addition. Isn't a great defender, but would have been one of the better defenders on this past season's team.

Maybe on defense. But his offensive game is more of a "traditional" 5 game. He's got a decent back to the basket game. I could see him in somewhat of a Kavell Bigby-Williams role. He's not the defensive player KBW was, but he can give you a little bit more offensively outside of just lobs and pick-and-roll dives to the basket.

He's one of the few guys I hope Wade can keep. He has a couple of things you can't teach: Good size and a lot of experience.

Everyone left could compete for a starting role and hopefully Reed stays. They can all contribute in whatever role they land.

So why couldn’t they contribute last season? Oh that’s right. The coaching was abysmal.

I seem to recall Wade pursued him hard to NCSU last season?

One had a season ending knee injury, one was an inexerienced freshman who improved all year long, one led the league in field goal percentage, the fourth had some good games but was inconsistent. All are good enough to play significant minutes whether they start or not. Now go inside and tell the clerks to fix the drink machine so you can refill your Polar Pop cup and walk out withoiut paying.

I wish we knew more about what Wade is doing/planning and what players are interested in LSU. Not that I think Wade owes us any info, I'm just excited he's back and want to be a fly on his office wall.

Wade went after him hard last year. Was a little surprised NCST didn't land him.

4s can play with their back to the basket, happens all the time. He can’t play center because he can’t guard big guys without fouling at a very high rate. Glad you brought up KBW because the reason he was put into the starting lineup was Naz Reid’s inability to stay on the floor as a 5 for the same reasons I mentioned about Nwoko.

Shea says he's not on LSU's board. Not sure if that is LSU's decision or Able's decision.
