Hopefully this is the case. Dessert looks like he has the highest upside of any of the international guys. I hope his club let's him leave. It probably will come down to those 3 years ilon his contract.

Dessert looks like a potentially dominating 5 in the SEC. There are also very limited options left at that position. Hope we can get this straightened out.

So do we still have Kevin Thomas and Marcus Vaughns? Haven’t heard anything about them, and 247 still has them as “signed.”

Don’t know what he knows but Ramezan is one of the nicest dudes. I don’t think anyone cares about the mbb program as much as he does
In other news, the combine started yesterday I believe and goes through the 17th. The deadline for Graves to remove his name from the draft pool is the 27th. Not sure what’s going on today but here’s some of the schedule I could find for anyone who wants to be on Graves watch:
Strength, Agility & Shooting Drills: Tuesday, 5/12 at 2:00pm/et on ESPN2
Scrimmages, Day 1: Wednesday, 5/13 at 2:00pm/et on ESPN2
Scrimmages, Day 2: Thursday, 5/14 at 2:00pm/et on NBA TV

I looked at one random mock today and they had him at the end of the first round.

At least in the top 250ish (per 247), there aren't many guys left who are uncommitted. Given the names discussed as having been contacted by LSU one could probably narrow it down to the guy

That's where I'm at with it. He is explosive.
3 years left on that contract might be a holdup. Usually they let them out if you pay enough.

Purely speculative and not info based but I think Burks is in a waiting situation for a Graves announcement. Wade says he wants to play 7-8 guys so my idea of our lineup looks like:
International PG
Divine
Niang
Graves
Dessert
Guard depth piece
Mo D
Bashir
Santos
Of course depending on who we add, that lineup can be played with and is very flexible for example like bringing Divine off the bench and starting Bashir for more spacing. Mo D also is a huge piece and has ample SEC starting experience so hard to just have him coming off the bench like that. But I don’t see much room for Burks if all those pickups come to fruition. There’s a lot of money tied up into those others guys.

I think Madar is going to start at PG (unless they pull off a miracle with Montero). Also think Bashir will start and Ugochukwu will come off the bench.
Other than that, think you likely have the top 8 nailed, though we have a few moving parts - Dessert euro team being a pain, Graves draft still a possibility, etc.
Also think they are working hard on the Luis eligibility situation.

This makes a lot of sense. There's no other reason for him to be waiting. LSU must have a good enough offer to where he's willing to hold tight for another week or so.
