Yeah able just my personal opinion. Would rather get McNeil. Still not sure who we are targeting yet. Just know we got some strong arse offer that are gonna be dished out next week.

Nwoko should be hitting the portal soon. He will have a pretty good market.

Of course. Just message me!

We’re starting to see who hasn’t received promising outlooks from The General. Hopefully Reece got a good evaluation and will be sticking around.

I would be pretty shocked if anyone came back from this year’s roster.

Why hasn't he already announced?
Posted on 4/2/26 at 8:43 am to tigersbb
Think he’s in contact with a school or two. He/ his agent did this last year also. He entered with a do not contact tag and committed to LSU pretty quickly.

Thank goodness tPear is home

Yep it was a rough stretch. Development really was abysmal. We brought in so much four star talent and most didn’t pan out. Off the top of my head:
Ward
Reed
Chest
Mike Will
Givens
Vyctorius Miller
Rob Miller
Reece
Mosely
Gilhool

I’d argue the only player that ever developed here under CMM was Reece and potentially Nwoko in the offseason.

Development was supposed to be a CMM specialty. He basically retained and developed no FR prospects. This season's team would have been significantly better if V. Miller, Chest, and Givens had been retained.

I think you can argue he developed MacKinnon. MacKinnon was an elite scorer on a bad team that had no other recourse to score once Thomas stopped playing. If the team would have been average, I think MacKinnon could have been 2nd/3rd team SEC.

Devin Vanterpool 6’-4” guard out of FAU
Looks a hell of a lot like a Wade type of player.

Via on3: “College basketball transfer portal: The programs ready to spend over $10M” LINK

LSU has gone all-in on Will Wade, and sources have told On3 that $12 million is only a starting point. Sources expect that number to grow as Wade begins to fundraise and gets aggressive in the portal. Wade left NC State after just one season; the Wolfpack are expected to commit over $10 million between NIL and rev-sharing for next year’s roster.

The article puts LSU in the top tier with all these other program
Tennessee- $10 million+
Kentucky- No number but will be scaling back from the $22 million last year. Will be doing a lot of retention
Arkansas- $13 million
Michigan, Arizona,
St. John’s, Florida- $10 million+
UNC- similar to last year’s $14 mil
Houston- $13-15 million
Auburn- $12 million+
Edit: The next tier $8-10:
Louisville, A&M, Iowa, Providence, BYU, Bama, Virginia, Washington

Personally, I think all of these statements for ALL teams (not just LSU) is nothing more than hyperbolic conjecture, if not outright bullshite. There is no way to confirm or fact check any of the numbers. It's ALL based on unverified statements from "sources"
NIL numbers are like fishing stories. The tales get bigger..or smaller...depending upon the argument you want to make
