The EM model ranks Niang as the 9th most impactful newcomer (HS recruits & internationals) to CBB.

Some rather large Euro basketball accounts are saying Niang received his clearance 10 days ago.

This would line up with when Ruzik also got cleared, and the delay could be explained by waiting for SEC clearance. If confirmed, that's another crap move by the SEC to poke LSU in the eye, since Niang could've been cleared for the first two exhibition games.

Writer for cbs sports is posting that dessert will be cleared shortly, lsu and wade have given up on rj luis

Kinda explains how Niang is eligible and why Dessert should be good by ncaa and sec standards

So glad Pear appears to have given up on Luis. Luis felt like the smoking gun Sankey needed to start the witch hunt. Otherwise it feels like everyone has a solid case.

We are mere weeks from crow being served to tHaters

Ill take getting the whole gang minus Luis all day...
He was the one that we all knew blurred the line anyway.

May not be title team but they can be competitive

Timing of it all seems coincidental. Rj luis cant happen Will, but we’ll let you have Niang and Dessert

Getting Niang is fantastic. Niang makes the team much better, and now we have depth at forward, but he's only 6'5", so we still desperately need size. Ruzic is very good, but if he fouls out or gets hurt, the backup center is Pearson. I imagine we would play small ball, but some of the big teams would destroy us. Dessert is the lynchpin to making us one of the best teams in the SEC. If we also get Clark, then we'll be one of the best in the nation.

Ive been wondering this as well.....whether back room negotiatiing was going on....."if you dont defy us on Luis, we wont fight anyone else" type thing

I imagine Ruzic, Dioubate, Dessert, and Levy will make up a vast bulk of 4 man forward rotation

Niang measured 6'7 at the combine (in socks). 6/11 wingspan. Going to terrorize people on defense.

Dessert is coming up shortly.
