Anytime a player (or generally their family) is talking about the love they’re not getting, is an automatic bullshite red flag. No high school teen boy is sitting around wanting grown men to text them more often. High-level recruits are constantly being hit up by coaches.

How in the world can your parents be LSU season ticket holders and you not go to LSU to play football. They must really hold a grudge which seems silly since none of those people are still at LSU.

The guy is a douchebag. The most notable thing about Jess Curtis is he is employed at the school that ruined the structure of Louisiana High School sports, even though his program recruits just as much as anyone else.
Truth. Many got tired of getting b!tchslapped by private schools and were the catalyst behind the split. Curtis is so full of himself, just a douche. He doesn't realize he's just a freaking small town coach employed by the state of Louisiana.

After he bolts to the great white north, can someone please make sure his parents season tickets are accidentally deleted and sent to a parent with real LSU ties.
Also LSU needs to sponsor big time high school ref clinic and fill it with LSU loyal people to be accredited. There is a ridiculous shortage right now and they will all be calling high games within two years

IMO, Tackett was never coming to LSU. His mind was made up several years ago. Jess is covering for him by claiming LSU and their coaching staff didn't do enough to court Tackett. Basically, justifying the kid's decision to go OOS.

Curtis Family and the Many community gets all butthurt about everything and tries to blame LSU.

Many is in nonselect because the kids sign an athletic contract. If they don't meet the standards they can send them back. Pretty much sums up how crooked the LHSAA is. If he doesn't want to come to LSU piss on him!!!

My stepdad was friends (kinda) with John Curtis. He was a a well HOF Louisiana Football coach.
I ask him about this years ago, and he said JT didn’t have any beef with LSU or at least that’s what he told him, but didn’t push kids to look at LSU either. He said that he felt like he owed it to LSU to make sure the kids give them a fair shot. They are Louisiana flagship football team and these kids would not have a chance to play if it wasn’t for Louisiana athletics. He was a college coach at several schools but not LSU, played college and won a mythical Natty at a college not LSU, and he didn’t owe LSU anything ever. He has a lot of players play for LSU, you would know some of them. That said, he liked damn near everyone and I defer to Mr Clean on this shite.
If Kid doesn’t want to go to LSU that’s ok, as long as he doesn’t go to bama. (Lol) Just man up and say it early, don’t waste everyone’s time and blame our coaches like a pussy. Again, I defer to Clean on this shite, been out of it too long

Meh let’s keep this about the player. The bitching about Many, which can be found in a million other threads, is played out and won’t change anything. Split or not they’re clearly a very impressive program.
