JT is a Saban guy, but he doesn't push his players anywhere really. Coming from a few friends who played for JT, and then went onto play at LSU, Bama, and other P5 schools.

Man the kid plays stiff as a frickin board.. no hips..and doesn’t display much lateral explosion.. comes down hill like a scud middle though.. I don’t see what the hype is.. seems like people are more concerned about the uncle

Bring from Louisiana, I can’t imagine going elsewhere if offered by all the big schools. Especially going to play somewhere really cold. Everyone gets so upset about that kid possibly going somewhere else. If he chooses to stay that’s great, if he doesn’t who cares. Of all the theories being floated about why he may not come to Lsu, at the end of the day it’s a bed he will have to sleep in. I tend to think as long as he doesn’t go to another SEC school who cares.

People still blaming O for this kids recruitment think the gas prices are high because of Trump.
Kid doesn't want to come here and the family is apparently butthurt that LSU wasn't recruiting him when he was an 8th grader. 2 years just isn't enough time for Tackett.

I’ll take a guy like Whit Weeks gladly. What dude from Louisiana would rather play at Ohio State or Wisconsin over LSU? None that I’ve ever met or heard of. It’s cold and the food is terrible. Plus that Wisconsin accent is the most annoying in all of the country.

That’s exactly what my stepdad said about JT. Wait until the freaking first winter hits, I swear I think it feels colder here with the damn humidity but 2 or 3 weeks with the high in the low 40s and lows in the 20s and being dark or overcast the whole damn time wears on your mind

In all fairness this North Louisiana crap is old. Every coach who comes in at LSU allegedly has “problems” with North Louisiana coaches yet nobody ever says what these “problems” actually are.
These “problems” didn’t stop Will Campbell from coming to LSU. Trey Holley recently committed. Omarion Miller was just on Campus.
LSU has had plenty of North Louisiana kids so I really do not understand this supposed problem.
Regarding Tackett Curtis, I have never seen him play but I have watched his highlight videos and to be honest I am not overwhelmed and impressed with his ability. He doesn’t appear to be particularly quick or fast. I really do not see what all the hype is about.
