Malachi Dupre Junior HighlightsI know we got Duke Reilly this year but I have heard some grumblings about Curtis being anti-LSU in the past. Moms 1st husband and my sisters dad played at Curtis in the 80s and went on to play at LSU and he told me that JT was never big on LSU. Had a cousin play there for a short period and heard kind of the same thing. I know a whole lot of their high profile kids never do come here. What says the RB?

I dont buy that. I know for a fact that JT had a nephew who now coaches at Curtis (Steve Curtis) that walked on at LSU under Saban.

those grumblings should be ignored. most came about during Mcknight's recruitment, but they are all bullshite.

someone alleged on here that a S&C coach there has a dislike for LSU, and tries to talk players into going elsewehere, but I don't know enough about it to confirm nor deny, but likely bullshite as well

Why on Earth would he ever go to UCLA? This guy is going to LSU unless we completely drop the ball.

LA is a very attractive city, and UCLA is also an extremely beautiful campus.

Cameron Sims' highlight tape is also impressive, watched both last night

They look alike on film imo

What's great about these highlights, is the fact that this is essentially every play he touched the ball.

i'm not sure if you're joking.

maybe he doesn't get that they weren't JCHS highlights, but Dupre highlights.

or he just doesn't know what highlights are

We have zero reason to go OOS for WRs in the 2014 class. These 4 guys (Sims, Dupre, Noil & Quinn) are all top 100 calibur prospects and will be difference makers on the next level. Still think we need to offer Sims ASAP.

Personally, I like Dupre the most out of the 4 big time in-state wideouts. His leaping ability is out of this world.

This kid has the potential to be the best wideout in the country. He is a natural receiver with elite size and leaping ability.

Having a weapon like Dupre in its arsenal makes Curtis that much more dangerous. Granted, their running game is the hallmark of their gameplan, but a stud receiving threat added to the mix just makes it unfair for opposing defenses.

This. He can be our version of Julio Jones. Him and Kevin Spears on the outside with Quinn and Noil in the slot...

I think he was implying that JC throws the ball so little, that those highlights are all the opportunities Dupre had. Saying every touch was a highlight.

Not all of those are junior highlights, but he's one heck of an athlete.

who is this GhostofJackson and why do we care what he thinks? Is he a coach or in the "inner" circle with some of these kids or is he just giving opinions?

GhostofJackson coaches at Curtis.
