I like a lot of pretending to know more about how this works over the people who do this year round.

I don't care if it's the #1 safety in the nation, we don't process the 11th ranked safety in the nation who's a local kid. That's a bad look

That's LSU football's main number. Call and voice your concerns.

I would have no problem with it if we were able to flip Avantae Williams or Ransom as a replacement. But neither are happening and this appears to be just one less DB we're taking in this class.

O beat out mama and Texas for Chaisson. I’m betting they are all very happy with that choice now and I would bet that has been or will be brought up to the young man.

Uh yes you do if you can get someone who is higher on your board. The percs of being an elite program again

Wasn't Evans supposed to let every coaching staff know his intentions again today?

We arent as bad off at safety as some think. There has been word that they will move Trey Palmer to DB and Devonta Lee to SS next year. So we will be better at that position than people are thinking right now.

Watching him come over and hug and talk to Davidson and Brown after the Auburn game was one of those unscripted moments that resonates in the recruiting world. This guy genuinely loves recruiting AND the kids and families he recruits even if it doesn't work out.
If anyone can navigate this re-shuffle of the commits without creating bad blood, I think it would be Coach O.

It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s 1 DB for 1 DB. We currently have 6 DBs this year, 4 are Freshman. Next year we lose Fulton and replace him with Ricks leaving us with Stingley, Ricks, Vincent, Flott, Ward, Jones. We also have the highest rated DB committed for 21’.
CEO has said we want the BEST available at positions of NEED.
IMO gladly would give up some DBs and WRs for guys in the trenches.

One guy a few pages back said this was academic and no one followed up. Any truth to that?

Considering the fact you think we were recruiting him as a safety shows how little you know about the situation.
This was 100% IMO the coaches feeling very good about the 4 CBs we brought in last year (Stingley, Flott, Ward, Jones) and just adding Ricks to them this year. Probably have a plan in place to get a handful of nice 2021 CBs.
This gives us Vincent (nickel), Stingley, Flott, Ward, Jones and Ricks next year at corner. That's a pretty good lineup. We'd only lose Vincent after that. Add 3 CB in 2021 class and we'll be very good moving forward.
They will find a guy to replace Malcolm Greene shortly, probably Reed or Kaufman in state.

It was said by accident by someone on a pay board, not academic related with Burns.

Palmer? Is it a hands issue? Because one would think he would play early at WR

I think Racey is primed to take over for Jefferson next year.

What in the frick? Aren't we #1 in the nation? Why are DB's leaving the fold?
