Just me, but I would rather see Velez get more minutes than watch Poole turn the ball over and take bad shots.

Haven’t gotten to watch the girls much but the clips I saw on Twitter were promising for the freshmen. Kent is going to be a good one.

Kent could be really good. She moves incredibly well for a 6’1 lady.

I've been saying all along that Janae Kent is the sleeper in this class. She's going to be All SEC once she's a starter.

I've been surprised by her. She's not afraid of the moment... nothing is too big for her. You can tell she was the absolute stud on every team she's ever played for... when she gets the ball, she's looking to score (she regards herself as top dog).
This freshman class is going to go down as the best ever at LSU, and one of the greatest of any program, anywhere, any time.

She also has family in Iowa. Her brother plays basketball in Iowa, small college about 1-hour from Iowa City. His teammate is Coach Bluder's son.
