It is worth keeping an eye on the team updates, but checking the latest roster news will give the clearest answer on whether that option is still open.

Most likely Ajitc broke the news in this thread. Then somebody saw it in this thread and ran with it to the paid boards. From there the "breaking news" guys that get their scoops from the paid boards ran with it.
