Well if the Russian isn't coming then I hope there is a plan B. There are still 5th year seniors out there. Even if the Russian does come, picking up two 5th year seniors wouldn't be a bad idea. Geaux Tigers!

Well according to the same guy that tweeted big update tomorrow, the Russian won’t be on the team this coming season . Current expectation is she’ll be here next season.

Joyner could possibly come back for a 5th year of eligibility. She wasn't drafted nor signed a professional contract.

Guess that depends on what happens with the 5 for 5 rule.

That’s what someone on this forum said and it may be true but apparently things didn’t work out like they had planned.

Yeah he was pretty adamant she won’t be on the team this year and he deletes that and tweets a meme that says “ seems to have been a change of plans”.

So who knows at this point.

As much as I would love for her to be there this season next season will have its share of bigs if everyone stays including the projected high players who may come in board. Bradley, Minaeva, Koval, Knox, Lampley, Morro. Geaux Tigers ??

In the absence of Minaeva, Joyner returning would help. Nothing to get giddy over, but she would fill a hole on the roster and can at least contribute.

It’s been reported that most women’s basketball coaches are taking the position of not signing any fifth-year players right now, given the possibility that the decision could be reversed midseason and the concern over potential retroactive forfeits for games in which a fifth-year player participated.

From what I was told by someone at LSU who is in a position to know, that is basically the approach LSU is taking institution-wide across all sports: don’t sign fifth-year players while there are still so many court cases and appeals pending.

CJ (Tigerbait.com) is now hinting at good news for WBB dropping tomorrow.
We know it’s not a schedule drop.

Not saying there won’t be good news, but I wouldn’t put any stock into anything this dude has to say.

He’s put out hints before of something happening and they’ve happened but I agree with you.

Just putting it out there that he tweeted that this morning
