Anyone else realize that Brian Kelly assembled a better recruiting staff than Orgeron had at any point while at LSU?

It's also nice how none of the staff is there just to recruit. All of them are known as very good all around coaches.

Kind of early to make that claim. We'll need to see what they can do with a full cycle. For all his faults, Orgeron recruited pretty damn well.. despite a few big misses. Particularly in-state guys.

Yep and competent leaders that will command the respect of their position groups. There will be total buy in with this staff once they get their guys in.

Its a new game. We need used car salesmen to get them into the program.

New team, new staff. Until they get their first class at LSU (2023) we won't know. I'm hoping and expecting that Kelly makes sure that the guys we recruit won't be suspended for weed or academics or won't lack leadership and a team mentality. A 5 star athlete that doesn't play or is a locker room distraction does LSU no good.

The new staff needs to close with Citizen and Mathews to get this thing moving in the right direction on the recruiting trail. Then find players in the portal to solidify the roster.

And yet half the players he recruited are not even eligible to play now because they didn’t even go to class. So what good did it do?
