I agree. I am about as close as you can get to Brian Thomas' family. I know his dad, all of his Aunties, Uncles and Cousins, his basketball coach, Walker football teammates and just about anybody else who matters.
I was absolutely certain he was a Bama lock.

Adam Mac Conathy.
The things said about Adam during his recruitment are spot on for Tackett in terms of his athleticism, leadership, character, etc.

When people love something it is bigger than one person. Bigger than any blame you want to put on Ogeron or the staff.
It's immature to say what someone is or isn't going to do- only they can speak for themselves.

I for one couldn’t give two shits less where a single recruit from Many goes. Hoping he doesn’t “go to an sec rival” is a weak mentality. One player doesn’t make that big of a damn difference anywhere ever. At all.

If it was just one player then yes. But its not just one player. We lost 5 of the top 10 in state this class and next year, as it looks right now, 4 of the top 6 are likely to go elsewhere. The difference between winning and losing a lot of games come down to just one player making big plays and being a difference maker, and we need all those players we can get.

LSU does tho. And while he will never make or break the program, they clearly want to make a concerted effort to plant a flag in every portion of Louisiana judging by Kelly’s coaching hires.

The biggest draw of coaching LSU is the talent in state, and keeping that talent.
If LSU HC has this kind of attitude like you show here, the program will be trash. Can’t just expect players to show up cause you are LSU. Fortunately BK made it a point to say the most important thing is getting the Louisiana talent to LSU.
