Jess Curtis has tweeted about USC and Ohio State visits today. Waiting to see anything about LSU.

The Many folks in here been screaming to anyone who listens that the kid is not going to LSU. Allegedly the family is season ticket holders and LSU fans but hated Orgeron for not pursuing him. They also hated the way he ran the locker room and ran team into ground. So you Orgeron lovers here are the reason Many people hate LSU now. Hope you can deal with that loss.

Well if they are indeed season ticket holders, LSU fans and hated the way O ran the locker room they should be ecstatic about LSU bringing in a top staff that is professional and reaching out to him. The new staff is reaching out so it would be foolish not to give LSU a new look.

One LB won’t break LSU. And I am not a hoping kinda guy. At the end of the day If the kid don’t like LSU then he needs to go someplace else. It’s not a requirement to love LSU if you live in Louisiana. It is excepted in some circles to be a UL fan, or so I hear.

If the kid is truly holding a grudge because he wants more attention and you Many fans keep pushing that agenda. Then please push him anyplace but LSU. BK is trying to weed out me first players.

Man your saying he’s a problem??? He’s one of the best players not just in your state but the country. He hasn’t closed door on anybody. But say he is a problem is comical.

Kid just wants to ball and if they tried to give him a suitcase of money he wouldn’t take it.

If BK truly wants a great culture in the lockeroom this is a kid he wants.

Not one choosing you because of NIL money

I truly believe BK will turn this around.

If anything the program is anti-O now…..

Not giving a top recruit in his home state is a bad commentary on the HC.
The Recruit closing the door on a completely new HC and staff for his home state b/c of the past regime is a bad commentary on the recruit.
Not saying the comments here are correct that he has eliminated LSU or holds a grudge, but that would not suggest great character or maturity, if true. Let it play out. We'll see what he's made of.

if this is his reasoning it is extremely shortsighted...considering O is gone and all

Man, I have no complaints with how the new staff has handled recruiting thus far. I would love to see them sink some major efforts into mending the relationship with Tackett. I hoped to see Kelley make a trip to Many by now to make a statement, but maybe I'm wrong on that and it's not something he should do until this class is in the books. I also expect Matt House to take the lead on Tackett, so we'll just have to wait on that. I also am a little puzzled that Zalance Heard doesn't have an offer yet. And I don't know why Zavion Thomas wasn't recruited at all.

So, while I've been super impressed with what's happened so far, I also feel critical of some of the moves as well. I hope they don't slow-play the Louisiana guys like O did.

Jess Curtis still holding grudges because LSU didn't offer past players like AJ Carter who went to AZ State, and ended up transferring to McNeese and not doing a damn thing.

It's interesting that they sent Sloan, a QB coach to talk to a LB recruit. Maybe Sloan has contacts in Many thru his La. Tech days.

Polian was there last week so there are sending different staff members. I'd bet House is there the first day of March when the dead period ends

Also LSU seems to lead for the stud safety Many has in the next class

No offense, but LSU is a LOT bigger than some HS LB from Many, Louisiana. I don't care if he is the second coming of Brian Erlacher. If he wants to go to school out of state, more power to him and I hope he balls out, but if he chooses not to go to his State school, with our football culture and history, which far exceeds many of the schools on that list, because the last staff hurt his feelings, all I can do is laugh.

Sorry but last time I checked Orgeron is no longer coach. If he's pissed because of a prior coach's mistake then he needs to grow TF up.

He’ll be a leader in the locker room wherever he goes. You just need to hope it is not an SEC rival

I have a hard team imagining a kid whose feelings got hurt because LSU wasn't "showing him the love" can play LB in the SEC more less be a leader.

BINGO!

How many game changing 5 star players come out of NOLA and North LA the last 20 years? I know it’s an arse load. Many gets a 5 star and we have to break our back to make coach Jess feel special. I say ignore it, let him walk. Not worth bending over for one coach with an ax to grind. Build the fence around Many, LSU don’t need them.

Long way to go and definitely way behind right now.
Top 6 players in LA and right now maybe only 2 sign with LSU - Sampson and Williams. Manning, Ausberry, Curtis and Holstein appear to be going out of state. LA also has 3 of the Top 14 QBs in the country with none currently leaning to LSU.
