Wish we could get Tyson Leblanc from Kansas out of the portal

They've got some one on campus today (likely Waters, at least) doing a photoshoot. Can't link the instagram on my computer, but you can go look at Jordan's story and see the foliage that is used in all of the visit pics. Hopefully it's a commitment photoshoot.

Waters would completely change this team overnight. Close him Jay

I noticed this morning when I drove by on my way to work they had highlights playing on the video board. It was 7 am so I doubt anyone was there at the moment but it was probably from last night.

Last year we lost 8 HS players. I can see 9 players this year realistically.
4 pitchers, Schmidt, Hirschkorn, Sides and Nawrocki. 4 outfielders Murphy, Santarelli, Davis and Washington. 1B Will Adams.
If we can get any of those of the 9, I would be excited. Historically Jay does not spend much money on HS with the exception of first rounders, out of Jay's own mouth. Maybe he will change this year. I did hear he might have more money for HS this year.
Even with the 9 high risk players, there are more risks as well. I think we will lose 7 to 10 players. I will settle for losing 7. Less than 7, I would consider it very well.

Kiley thinks we land 4 of those guys you named. Has Schmidt hirsh Adams dominck and Washington as little to no shot. And Davis Murphy Weinstein stringer sides nawrocki and Brady as 50/50s and thinks we land 4 of the 50/50s

But hit .248 in MAC play; how the hell that happened I'll have no idea
Wild. I looked up how he was finishing the year because people were still wishing for him and it was a pretty disappointing finish all things considered. Didn’t he quickly get to 10 HR?

Jay was clearly unhappy with how the combination of the portal and HS signing class ended up last summer
It was a little odd that he seemed caught off guard by some of the guys they lost. He pretty much called out Jaden Fauske, but he was getting first round hype heading into the draft. I think a few other guys that showed up then bounced like Dean Moss was a surprise to him, but he was a top 50 guy for almost the whole process. Without knowing any behind the scenes stuff, I thought River Hamilton was one of the only guys that really didn’t make sense, but considering he was hurt, he didn’t want to take a chance.

Solitaria hit 8 HR in 33 MAC games, whereas he hit 8 HR in 25 non-conf games.
In 8 games vs power conf teams (LSU, Tenn, Ohio St, Pitt, Mich), he went 12-for-31 (0.387) with 2 HR and 7 RBI. The vast majority of that damage was against LSU and Tenn early in the season, but he did have a stretch later in year during conf play where he hit a HR in 4 straight games.
Looking at his game by game outcomes, it’s safe to say he was scorching hot first part of the year and cooled off considerably by year’s end.

I think Jay and Chief can work on 1B/OF Santarelli swing to make him better. I just have a good feeling about this guy, he could become a force offensively with a little adjustment.

The problem is there are likely to be a few MLB clubs that feel the same way

Looks like Bino has a younger brother in the 2028 class that's also a stud. Flip Watters. I believe he's still uncommitted. Sign em both up.
