I think he could have success in the pros in the right situation. I think a handful of college coaches would, including Jay Johnson. Admittedly, I'm not completely familiar with the Giants' current situation. I know they had some young talent in the bigs this year but not sure about the pipeline.

Just glad to hear Coach JJ keep saying he wouldn't leave LSU for even the Dodgers or the Yankees. He's been saying this for the past 3 years. If TV's going to leave, other than in the summer post the CWS, now is the time. A new HC would have Fall ball & a full Spring to keep the program running smoothly. In that T Ball stadium.

He’s been doing a lot of day to day program stuff anyway. Frank probably won’t be around much longer but they have a guy in house to take over. S&C coach is a big deal for them, but I think Elander was the connection to him in the first place.
