Have to wonder if a few of these high school players are seeing the roster numbers for next year too.
they all have advisors who monitor this type of stuff. You can bet they are on the phone with the coaching staff trying to weigh their options.

Here come a bunch of the senior signs.

Yeah, I still don’t think we’re out of the woods on some guys. Round 11 opens back up a lot of extra money. If teams really go low on the next 5 picks, they can splurge on round 11.

that’s even more rare though…I do wonder if we see teams just draft players for the hell of it in those rounds because of the new format and try to work out something after

The Warren and Blomker picks suddenly aren’t surprising seeing how this class is potentially shaping up

Where is Tutko when we need him? He should be in here giving us the low down like years past

I’m wondering if that was 2 of the 6-8 Jay predicted.

Briggs went in the 4th for much more than 500k.
Santarelli, Adams, Washington, and Murphy are all worth well over 500k as well. It’s going to take some big overpays.

People want to know a safe cut off, and there isn’t one

there def is unless these kids would sign for pennies compared to what their original number was

Who’s this Warren? I’m not seeing anybody with that name.
Did you mean Roberson?

I will say, 500k before tax seems low
i’d rather roll the dice on not sucking in college and there is a solid chance you can make more than that.
500k won’t last you to the major if you want to live comfortably

Cutoff in terms of a place in the draft where a player couldn’t get paid what they want. There is no cutoff

With how it’s gone so far the Rays and Giants are two teams I’d still show a little concern if a signee gets taken by them moving forward.

Seems a lot of guys with leverage are still the picks. I see the cardinals and all the money have not taken a college senior yet. Lets hope that is a sign. I am sure the 9th and 10th rounds will be littered with no leverage guys.
