Definitely should've said no if true. I'm not sure why you would enter the portal then immediately want to return with seemingly nothing transpiring during that time. Doesn't really make sense

Nice piece by Koki Riley.
Mentioned Jay landed 8 out of 10 portal pieces he really pursued. That is a big difference from last year, Unfortunately one of the 2 pieces was a LHP. Jay just wasn't impressed by the LHP in the market, besides they missed on.
I'm more optimistic for Nawrocki and Santarellit

The 4th round being moved to day 1 is helpful in getting guys to campus. It pushes the regrouping one round later and makes it harder for teams to come up with a big offer in the first round of day 2.
I saw a nugget in the Baseball America buzz article this morning that talked about the 6 biggest bonuses paid out to HS guys after the 3rd round last year. 3 of them were LSU signees.
There could still be some of that happening, but I feel like it will be a little more straightforward and we will know our fate with most guys on day 1.

Fangraphs just updated their draft list, for pretty much the first time for this cycle. They have the highest grades on some of our guys. Will Adams at 32, Coleton Brady is rated pretty highly (their #2 HS pitcher outside their top 75 players). Jake Brown is their top college hitter outside their top 75 players.
ETA: Still combing through the Fangraphs stuff. Coleton Brady is considered by them to be an overslot candidate in the 2nd or 3rd round. That's the most significant buzz we've seen around him.
