Cam Flukey to the portal. Doesn’t really matter seeing as he’ll be a first round pick in three weeks, but he’s in there.

extra leverage?
if you don’t like my number i’ll transfer to an SEC School and still have leverage next year, move?

Yes , leverage strategy , you will probably see more high profile draft picks do it.

I noticed Tenn has been a frequent transfer “destination” for a lot of high draft risks in portal. Doesn’t seem like a wise strategy. Hope they get ravaged.

It has to be the extra leverage because I don’t really see the actual leverage without the 5/5. Yes, he’s provided with a “choice” to return to school but is it really leverage? Turning down $3.5MM+ to go sign an NIL deal worth $300k and risk injury doesn’t seem like much leverage to me.

Hell yeah.
So is that the outfield or do we try and find one more?
I still think they would take the Oregon OF if he wanted to come here.

yeah idk, maybe the idea is, well maybe I go get 9 million as 1/1 next year if I dominate a bigger conference
it seems like a hat on a hat because everyone seems to know what he will do.

A few more notes from Jason Armstrong.
Minnatee is another Tre Morgan.
Sides, is a major draft risk but it is really excited about coming to LSU.
Cupit, has a lower strong body.
Loew advanced bat speed.
Former Tiger pitcher Fidel Uldoa playing well in AA.
2027 class is really good and lockout could factor in players to campus

the lockout will definitely be contentious
I'm not sure what the impact will be on 27 draft as of yet
the 26 draft will impact players that may not start their major year of development with 27 minor league season
In all likelihood the 27 draft class will no way more assuming the lockout gets settled

Naulivou Lauaki Jr, the 6’5 260 FR formerly of Oregon committed to UGA

That dude is gonna hit a lot of HR's in that launching pad.

I just wonder how much leverage this actually gives you… at the end of the day, being able to say no and go back to school is plenty enough “leverage”

And also strike out in 40% of his at bats

2027 minor league season will be unaffected by a lockout. They operate under a separate CBA than MLB. Their CBA is up for negotiation i think the year after the MLB one, so Dec. 2027.

Dawson Park (*gasps*) isn't in the lineup at SS when the only other SS on the roster makes his debut. Crazy!
Park's Cape assignment may be over, or could just be a day off.

You should have placed the (gasp) after SS.

Ryan kucherak has entered the portal again
Posted on 6/30/26 at 1:33 pm to AlecRock23
Kucherak is a massive draft risk. He put together 2 strong years after he left LSU. While we probably could have used him both years, especially this past year, it’s good to see players like him make the most of the more playing time opportunity presented. One of the good sides of the portal era.
