It really feels like we're trending toward a Nate Davis announcement about pulling out of the draft.

Feel free to elaborate here

There's just been hints and rumors about him wanting to come to school vs go pro. And social media stuff seems to be trending that way. LSU has had success in getting guys to take their name out of the draft altogether.

It's more of feeling or hunch than anything concrete.

Davis would immediately compete with Patrick for the RF spot.

I saw an interview with Davis, and I believe Rooney, the PG guy, and Davis came off as mature and ready to compete.

These are type of games innings eaters would be pitching in the 8th-9th inning often

Also the types of games where Ethan Clauss or Daniel Harden get an at bat or two. Pretty frustrating.

I remember we were up 24-2 on grambling in 2024 and zeb Ruddell crushed a 3 run homer to the intimidator

I wish we got more of those moments

Anything released on Oregon State LHP Trey Morris? He had a do not contact tag. Just wondered if anything was announced.

Nothing announced, but lean to Florida to follow his pitching coach is what has been said

I've always wondered in midweek games do we have to have the run rule. I thought it always something that the coaches had to agree to. I guess Jay could come off like a bit of an arse if he insisted we keep playing when we're up 14 runs in the 8th.

10 run rule sucks unless you are in a tournament format. I would imagine that most colleges end their seasons with a few guys who have less than 15 innings pitched in a year.

10 run rule option is solely decided by the visiting coach for non-conference games. Jay has no say. Unless he said something like we're not scheduling you if you impose it which would be a bit much.
