There is actual paperwork that can be done to take them out of the draft pool. So the teams generally don't say shite and just take the player off their board.

I'm not the greatest source of info on this subject, but in the past I have seen guys still get drafted and a team make a last ditch effort on them caving to their number.

People that are around this thread with the exception of a few are pretty knowledgeable about the baseball sitch. I usually believer everything here good or bad.

Damn lol. It’s so true though. Looking back, Jay honestly probably gave those guys way too much opportunity. He even spoke so highly of them. They had every single chance and more to prove themselves but never did.
The fact that they aren’t extremely appreciative of what jays done for them kinda shows their true character. If they need more handholding than that then their parents should look for a school within close proximity of a daycare facility.
