Haha great question

Obviously Shores has big league talent but he did struggle to find an out pitch early in his freshman year. Idk how much he's been able to develop since he's been hurt, but I would say he's not wrong to have some concern over whether or not he will reach his potential next year. I think he most likely does become a Friday night ace but it's not a guarantee

Looks like Cade Arrambide will be playing in Round Rock TX this weekend for the state finals. I might ride up there and watch that game.

Is there anyway to modify the first page with rankings on perfect game or is that impermissible because some of the content is premium? I know some of the main HS recruits that are at high draft grade risks, like Griffin, Caminiti, and Schmidt but who are some of the others that are likely high picks that may not make it to campus?
If you click each persons name it is linked to the perfect game profile. Basically any with a PG grade 9.5 or 10 is a draft risk.
To answer more directly, the highest risk HS kids are
Konnor Griffin
William Schmidt
Cam Caminiti
Boston Bateman
Cade Arrambide
Derek Curiel
Kale Fountain

I believe Larson will only be 20 next year if I remember. Think it’s just Kade.
You are correct. Larson and Brown will turn 20 during the season next year. Milam was close, birthday is August 10th. Anderson is the only one who will be draft eligible next year.

Apparently Dallas Dale II is not moving on from baseball. He has entered the transfer portal.
Still haven't seen Zeb Ruddell on the D1 transfer tracker but was on the list from 64 Analytics.

Arrambide, Curiel, and Fountain are gonna be massive sweats but similar situations as our impact freshmen this year. Hopefully they can see how it worked out for Larson, Brown, and Milam.

Yes, getting all 3 of those to campus would be a huge win for LSU.
I think Curiel can be the quickest day 1 impact guy but the other 2 have huge potential and big time power, which will be a need for next years team.

To expand on my earlier point about Florida State:
Baseball America did an early season 2025 draft list. With the addition of Chrest, FSU now has 5 players on that top 100 list.
28. Cam Leiter (UCF)
58. Evan Chrest (Jacksonville)
61. Jamie Arnold, this is how you know it was early season. He should be top 10 now.
79. Drew Faurot (UCF)
99. Alex Lodise (North Florida)

That's impressive. Although they never hoisted the trophy, they made the tournament 45 straight years before missing in 2023. They are a baseball blue blood. Jarrett appears to have it rolling again.

Definitely. Not sure why the other guy was being an arse about it. There are all different kinds of good and bad recoveries from TJ. Nothing is guaranteed. He needed a little development before and he’s spent a significant amount of time rehabbing. One positive is that he had such a long period between the surgery and his return, his elbow will be 100% with no restrictions. I’m curious to see if he ends up getting a few summer league innings in.

Yes, I’m aware of the grade number which indicates mlb potential. I’m specifically referring to their rank in the class and positional rank. If you’re not a premium member, you can’t see those things.

Ohhh ok. Yea, unless you pay they don't release those rankings until after the draft.

The sheer abundance of talent in that area is staggering. It's hard to fathom how a team could not be a perennial contender with such a wealth of potential at their disposal.
As another poster suggested, FSU turning the smaller Florida schools into their development program is genius but scary.

Their weekend rotation is already set for next year and it is probably best in the country

Also zach root (ecu #2) now in the portal
Posted on 6/5/24 at 2:05 pm to josh336
Root is the best prospect in the portal so far. Lefty potential ace. 1st rounder next year. Guessing we’ll be all in.

Went to look at his 2024 game log and ECU already pulled his 2024 profile

To take him off a roster he was on all season with the season complete is pretty high amounts of butthurt
