Classes start Monday or Tuesday right? So we’ll know within the next few days if that’s the case

Dylan Tebrake signed with the mets for $136K (181.9K slot).

Definitely seems like he was never going to come to LSU really.

That's not really the rule anymore. It's just the hard deadline of the 1st.

So Gavin Interviewed with Mikd Up

LINK

he confirmed the number i had heard, 2.7-2.8 if he went 1-2nd round.

I hadnt heard he wanted more after day 1 (3.2m)

not trying to brag, but tried telling all those dumbasses from LC that came on here spouting off about a low number. Bunch of idiots.

he confirmed he turned down mutiple 2m offers.

btw its a really good interview.

As a Senior, he probably made a good $$ decision, unless baseball NIL is higher than I think!

As a Tiger Fan I agree with your opinion!!

I mean in reality, he would make that next year if not more. This was never about the money, the dude was just ready to go pro and used the LSU play as leverage.

I would have taken a year at LSU and probably made that close in NIL money if possible.

In the grand theme of things, 136k before taxes and agent fees is really nothing. If he plays in the minors and doesn’t make it to the bigs he will be broke by the time he’s done

He's been on partial scholarship at a private school for 4 years. He's already broke.

whats funny is during the guidry interview he talks about that. the 2.2m offer.....he was like sounds liek a lot then he looked at how much for taxes, agent etc and suddenly he was like bro....it aint that much

Said the teams dont want to tell you all that, just try money slapping you

welcome to the real world youngin

Tebrake had graduated, he really had nothing to gain by coming to lsu. Due to his age, his best path was to get into a system & start to move(if he even proves good enough)

It’s disheartening to read how strong a guys commitment is and then he signs for what amounts to 650k

If you think $650K isn’t life changing money……you must’ve been born with a silver spoon.

For 90% of anyone on Earth….that is life changing.

He signed in a Creighton shirt. Never visited and never intended on coming to LSU. Not even worth a what if.

If LSU was a leverage play and all he got was $136k from it, that wasn't much of a leverage play at all.

OK but we are talking about living in present day USA. 650K gross after taxes and agent fees is hardly life changing...
