Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.

It's been a rough day for portal pete and his three-ring circus. He's finding out just how hard this head coaching thing is.

I really don’t get the hate for the NCAA by everyday fan. Yes, they screwed some things up, and played favorites at times, but there has to be some organization in charge of the College athletics.

You think the NCAA has been “in charge?” Bless your heart!

The ineptitude of the NCAA is why we’re in this predicament in the first place. When athletes started to bring suit against the NCAA and its member institutions, the NCAA sat on its hands and even doubled down on its huge rule book prohibiting college athletes from receiving even minor benefits. How in the hell was denying them the ability to make money off of autographs signings, and personal appearances helpful or defensible when conference and programs were making billions of dollars and coaches were being paid millions of dollars. The student athlete premise had been bullshite first years.
When it was apparent that the courts were going to rule in favor of the athletes did NCAA get out ahead of the situation and set boundaries for NIL? No! They held true to their selfish principles in the name of amateurism which was a farce.
Boosters moved into the vacuum of leadership and no guidelines.
The portal would not be nearly the problem if not for chasing NIL collective dollars.
The NCAA is worthless as tits on a bull. NCAA should be dismantled before the next media negotiations for March Madness and replaced with a professional management organization.

Bumble Bee the NCAA has been a crap organization for many decades. We need a good professional NCAA with smart, common sense people working it. Have seldom had that.

The NCAA caused all this by allowing waivers and exceptions.

If they had firm eligibility requirements and limits, there would be no grounds for a lawsuit.

Trinidad bro just enter the draft man lol. You will be one of the first QBs picked I’m sure since the class is so bad. IDK why he wants to come back and play for drunk Pete anyway.

I can understand for those with no real shot in the NFL but Chambliss is passing up on a good year to go pro with a weaker class and passing up guaranteed money and being a year closer to the 2nd contract. There are definitely risks for him staying.

Screw that snake reporter and anyone that supports him or talks to him.

Still think it could have been an LSU leak. Dellinger was close to LSU. He could have easily preyed on a contact at lsu’s friendship.

I always expect the worst, so I could still see it. I hope he just goes pro. He should capitalize off a great season and weak qb class on paper. He’s potentially a first or second rounder.
