I saw that too Crown... I was a little confused, because I thought he had been offered at camp a few weeks ago? Regardless, he's without a doubt secured an offer now and we need to stay on him over the next few years. He could be special.

Update, in first four games has accounted for ~731 rushing yards on 53 carries and has accounted for 15 touchdowns. Not confirmed but from what I can gather from news outlets.

53 Carries in 4 games. His coach is NOT going to simply pile up stats. I asked the coach Saturday morning if he had Tre Holly’s new record in his sights….coach just laughed and said,”no way.”

At RB and starting as a true fr last year, it would be easy to abuse that kid.

He looks really good. STM does play shite competition but I think he will do well anywhere.

Best freshman highlights I’ve seen seen since McKnight.

I can't watch this kid without seeing Reggie Bush. That's obviously WAY too big a name to use as an actual projection but the jump cuts paired with the way he swings the ball way out wide on his jukes--almost like a PG crossing someone over--make Bush the immediate front-of-mind comp in terms of running style. The latter part (i.e. the ball security) is probably something that'll need to be coached out of him, but damn if it doesn't make me think of Reggie Bush visually.

Long way for this kid to go--he could stand to put on a few pounds and maybe add a hair of straighline speed (two things which frequently go hand-in-hand)--but my goodness does he look like the real deal. If he progresses normally, i simply do not see a way in which he is not a top 3 RB in his class when all is said and done. This kid looks SPECIAL.

Edit: So apparently he's already got a track-verified 10.7 100m dash. Which means the speed is absolutely there. The only real weakness i see here is a) weight, and b) his on-field speed doesn't quite seem to match the track speed. But as young as he is he should easily gain the muscle, and that should in turn allow him to maintain more of that track speed with pads on. Again: This kid is the real deal.

Jesus, how fast do you want him to go?

Lmao yea i mean i edited my comment to add his verified sprint times. I'm well aware that I'm REALLY picking nits here, but he doesn't quite look like an elite burner to me in his highlights. But given his track times and the fact that he's like 15 or 16 years old, I expect that he will be an elite burner by the time he's done. Seems like he currently has at least somewhat of a gap between his track speed and his speed in pads--but the additional muscle he's bound to add will undoubtedly close that gap.

Harlem ran a 4.38 laser timed 40 yd dash at the LSU camp in front of all the coaches including BK. H was offered on the spot as you can't coach speed. FWIW, at the 2022 NFL combine for RB's, 2 dudes ran a 4.37 and 3 others ran a 4.38. Once Harlem gets past the second line of defense (LB's) he glides and doesn't have to use his track speed to outrun DB's. He has great vision and uses his speed when hitting the hole and cutting back to minimize tackling angles by the defense.

That's absurd for almost anyone. For a 15 year old it's outrageous.
