At this rate, he’ll be the next Stingley from a recruit standpoint—far and away the best player on the field but plays in a shite league.

Yes he should really dominate on the field the next few years. But he gets exposed to higher competition on the 7on7 circuit and does really good too so I personally feel fine about low classification guys in situations like this but ain’t like I’m offering scholarships

For those not in the know, 7-on-7 is exactly that: seven offensive players taking on seven defensive players. Offenses have a center, a quarterback and any combination of running backs, tight ends and wide receivers to yield five eligible receivers. Defenses have two or three linebackers and four or five defensive backs.

any RB with 4.4 speed (Berry) cannot be guarded 1 on 1 by a LB. Imagine the RB motioned out and lined up in the slot. Then running this route … simply unstoppable

Thon Maker did not last more than a couple of games. He disappeared in the middle of the night with his handler.

By running routes and being athletic. Surprisingly physical too those dbs and lbs will smoke you in the middle of the field.

Doesn’t play vs much competition, but also has zero line. He’s a very very fast kid, and very respectful when you speak with him. Related to a prominent college recruiter who is now at Florida.

There aren't enough good basketball players in New Orleans or the surrounding areas to cheat in recruiting. Who was the last 5* basketball player out of New Orleans? Randy Livingston? Compared to other major cities in the South, Memphis, Atlanta, even Louisville, New Orleans may as well be in Wyoming when it comes to basketball talent.

They're not from New Orleans. They're out of town/out of state guys transferring to Newman in 8th/9th grade.

There's been 2 5 stars that have techincally played in New Orleans over the last few years. Mitchell Robinson and Thon Maker.

why not mention the coach/recruiter's name ?

I'm guessing Jabar Jaluke who prepped at St. Aug and coached at a half dozen schools in NO. He has extensive ties to many coaches, parents, and players in NO who are very loyal to him. The SBC Freshman of the year, Montrell Johnson played at De La Salle before committing to ULL. The kid is extremely talented and could have been the #1 RB at ULL for the next 3 years. Johnson followed Jaluke and transferred to Florida.

Yep, uncle is Juluke from what I know.

Berry impressed at UF camp last week. Also added a Mississippi State and A&M offer.

Jabar Juluke is great value brand Frank Wilson. The guy is a joke in the New Orleans area high school ranks.

This kid is going to lsu.
