Best air conditioner installer/company in the New Orleans/Metairie area? - tigers9898
Looking to add a two ton unit to the other side of the house, or potentially replace the old unit. One side of the house cools great, but our master is on the other side of the house from where the AC unit is located. I've closed vents, checked the ductwork etc.. and nothing seems to help. We'd be u...

re: LHSAA basketball: when did district tournaments become a thing? - tigers9898
Districts have to agree to do this. Some districts do it to open up dates to play better schools for power points during the season, rather than having to schedule around district games. ...

Anyone have any rec's for pool repair in NOLA/Metairie - tigers9898
I had a company come out and test the lines since we just bought a home that had an inground pool. I've followed all the lines which are under roots and about two feet of clay, which was why they were broken. There is one line that broke under a tree, and I cant find out where it goes. I'm just look...

re: Ahmonte Watkins - RB, Riverside Academy - tigers9898
This kid could play football and run track for LSU. I’ve watched him run track for three years now and he looks effortless out there. Once he gets in their program his natural speed will only get better on the football field and on the track. ...

I am dealing with a small leak in the skimmer connected to my in-ground pool. The skimmer is encased in concrete. I know the concrete will need to be removed, the skimmer replaced, and new concrete needs to be poured. Just wondering if anyone has done this in the past few years. Thanks for the help....

Cost to add a second 2.5-3 ton AC unit? - tigers9898
Looking into adding a second 2.5 ton unit to a 2500sq ft home we are renovating. Instead of buying one large 5 ton unit we are thinking about just adding a second 2.5 ton unit. The already existing unit is newer and works great, but just not big enough to push the air through the entire home. Each ...

re: Chicken with a grease gravy recipe - tigers9898
Pan fry the chicken. After the chicken is done take it out. Drain the grease except for 1/4 a cup of it, and save all the fried pieces that fell off during the frying process for the gravy. Put one cube of chicken bullion, about 1/4-1/2 a cup of flour or chicken fry mix into the grease and make some...

Had a great sandwich from Jason's Deli today. I've been waiting for one to open up close to the New Orleans area since the nearest one was in Baton Rouge. Didn't even know it was there until I was driving down and saw it out of the corner of my eye. Just wanted to get the word out. ...
