How do you build a roster, when your roster walks away?

He went from growing his playing time to disappearing off the face of the earth. There was no word about an injury. This tells me there is something going on with him that we haven't heard about.
Obviously this isn't on the field or playing time related. Has to be something off the field.

Any of our S recruits big enough to drop down to LB?
Or can we talk Kobe Fields into staying now there is more PT available?

I feel like Derrick Davis would be a solid LB

Yeah this has become stupid. It's too easy to leave a program now. Im sure the staff has to be even more frustrated. Fortunately, it seems every program is dealing with it. You may get stronger at one position but take a hit at another.

The law has had an easy and fair solution to this since man invented writing: it's called a contract. The players get whatever they can negotiate like a scholarship and money. The schools get the players' services for the amount of time agreed to in the contract.

Missouri with Baker may have a shot

Agree! Get 15 more pounds on him and he’s a stud LB!

Are we looking at any LBs in the transfer portal?

More excuse to go out and get a much needed ILB.

I think that is his best bet if he wants to stay in the sec.
Imo i think he transfers back up north, probably to penn state or maryland to get playing time as a ss.

This is odd and I wonder if it’s academic related. Maybe throw his name in the portal now knowing maybe he won’t be eligible.
A player has to be in good standing academically to enter the portal.

I agree with you on the tampering, but in this case, he didn't make the trip to Orlando and there was no explanation. Sounds like discipline issue and he left.

Unless someone saw him in Orlando he didn’t make the trip, rumors on pay sites about possible arrest, etc. Maybe wasn’t even eligible to play in the bowl. If a player can’t stay out of trouble or keep his eligibility in one semester he is problem.
CBK can’t put up with that kinda of shite, it destroys a team. Maybe the kid will get his shite together at his next gig but let’s be honest odds are significantly against that happening.
