how it all went down but, look at how much heat Jordan got from the LSU fan base. it almost kept Rickey from coming to LSU. It was a blessing that Justin came though!
Not a good analogy.
JJ was a decent QB and did not have any recruitment drama. His drama came from the infamous fight at Shadys. He was never a perfect QB and became a liability with all the distractions.
I think Ricky and Justin both saw through the drama and they supported their bro and still loved LSU. It was more of the fans that reacted negative to JJ.
That said... I am thankful we had all three come to LSU. Justin & Ricky play(ed) lights out and JJ made a fantastic backup QB.
Dylan and his Dad on the other hand knew LSU loved them from the get go. The whole “bidness decision” was a planted seed of fertilizer by probably Burton Burns or fricking CNS himself knowing Less had one foot on a banana peel and the other on the grave. The whole “Bama was a better fit” was and still is horse shite. Ask Devin White, Kwon Alexander or Debo Jones if they were “not prepared” for the NFL because they played at LSU. Some don’t give DM enough credit. I think he’s earned his hype but he would have been successful at either program.
My thoughts though... frick Dylan but if his lil bro wants to be a Tiger then LSU fans need to back off. I’m guessing he will handle his recruitment better than his Dad and his brother but who the hell knows. I would love to see him in P&G but rather he eliminate us early and spare us the drama if he’s not sincere.

I'd say let the kid show some interest first...come on a few OVs, attend some camps, etc. on his own dime. If he does, then see where it goes.

Just recruit him like any other prospect with his level of skill. You can't take everything so personal in recruiting.

No offense but when a team fires the HC mid season and I’m enrolling early, that team gets eliminated from my list of schools. Especially when they hire a dline coach Boone else wanted as their HC

3 years too late but still a smart decision: family is tiger bait they can move to Alabama and enjoy sweet tea and hope someone makes money out of the NFL.

I agree with this. I also don’t blame any tiger fan for not holding their breath.

Everyone uses this excuse but his foot was out the door well before Miles was canned. He decommitted before the season even began in August of 2015, before he had any doubts about Les Miles keeping his job. He committed to Bama before he even knew who the full time coach was going to be as well, so your DLine coach comment is crap too.

I don't buy that argument. Went to IMG to get away from Baton Rouge before committing to Bama. Had nothing to do with firing Miles.

When will this incorrect narrative die... he decommitted a full year before Miles was fired.

I’m pretty sure Saban won’t be coaching in another 6 years so who knows where he will end up.

Offer, then leave him alone. If he wants it, he will accept the offer without all of the pomp and circumstance. We don’t need to revisit that bullshite again.

Recruits rarely end up being package deals. Some people want to blaze their own trail. His brother went to Bama for whatever few reasons that were important to him. If lil Moses is worth of the 25 spots, we should at least test the waters instead of just letting talent walk to Bama.
so true, you don't throw in the towel on recruiting a kid just because his brother didn't come here. If he is good enough to be offered then he should be recruited. Orgeron didn't become known as a top recruiter by giving up so easy or by being such a pussy.

In hindsight, we are lucky to have the Jefferson family over the Moses family.

No dealing with family again. Learn from mistakes

Younger brother might want to do something different.
And there is a third - the youngest Moses.
