Agree i don’t even think this has to do with anything financially. It was clear when they beat UGA that this team is riding on a high and at least a faction of the team is enjoying/viewing it as sticking it to Lane. I really don’t think it’s a money thing anymore. Chambliss, Lacy, etc want to stick it to Lane and LSU.
I think at this point it’s best to just cut off the Ole Miss connection.
Honestly I’d have Durham back. I thought he was an extremely talented and under coached back. He’d be good with a better offense

I haven't seen 30 anywhere. And we had to pay top dollar for Green, Berry, and the defense to come back. Not to mention a $4-$5 million dollar QB. We still have to buy a whole OL, 2 more QB, 2 more RB, 3 more WR, a TE, a good kicker, and defensive depth pieces, all of which will probably command a lot of money.

The way things are shaking out is encouraging, in my opinion. Lane said they weren’t going to just throw money at players and the fact that he isn’t waiting until after the playoffs to make certain moves bodes well.

Every Ole Miss player is riding on a high right now AND getting money thrown at them… Ole Miss is signing them at the right time. They lose and all momentum is gone. What player on that team right now is saying frick this I’m going to LSU? None.
