On3

Consensus 4 star and 23 in the 2024 class.

He was the #2 QB in the class of 2025 when he reclassified.

It is the truth. Enjoy your pity party

Sounds good until Oregon or Texas throws $30M at Haven. Then what?

LSU is Charlie Brown. Top rated qb's who sucker fans into believing they are signing with LSU are Lucy. The ball isn't there when it's time to kick.

We are about to go 0 for 3 on the top 3 recruits from LA in the 2025 class. You consider that recruiting the hell out of LA?

If LSU wants to lash out, go get Darian Mensah from Tulane. No idea if he would be good in the SEC but he plays with great poise and throws an accurate ball. Plus it would piss off little brother down the road.

0-3 according to who?

Stewart hasn’t committed
Berry is a tiger.

With that said, how do you propose we stop players from LA without using money … because we don’t have Nike or Barstool in our corner.

Come on genius name a better LA recruiter than Frank, Brad, and Bo…. Some years you aren’t going to get 8 of 10 like last year. Some years two players in top 5 play the same position like RB it’s rare you will get both.

Then you have guys that are chasing the dollar and good for them. You also have kids who just want out of Louisiana. I did at 18… the military offered me money and I jumped. I can only imagine if I was being offered Millions…

Recruiting is an auction for your top players now. Unless you have the top dollar for that player you aren’t pulling out of state and even for instate our offers have to be comparable.

Simple, by winning. No kid wants to go get manhandled by conference rivals and embarrassed on national TV for 3 straight weeks.

Michigan is fricking 5-5 winning doesn’t matter!

It’s about the fricking money and as soon as you get that into your little brain the sooner you can be happy.

It takes a very large NIL effort to win at a high level and until we have our NIL throwing 12 million at #1 players in the country we ain’t getting them.

Until a salary cap is figured out, we will have to do well finding the 3 and 4 star studs.

There is no way you put your eggs in a 2027 basket. When I tell you the 2027 class is loaded at QB, it is loaded. Haven is good, but you need to let the class play out. shite you cant plan three weeks out much less three years.

I 100% agree, Hurley is damn good and he is one of us a true Tiger. He needs to get in there next year, Nuss is obviously not the resolution.

So, can Hurley get some playing time this season while not burning his redshirt season?

Winning 1000% matters. Nowhere have I ever said that money doesn't matter, but you saying winning doesn't matter tells me everything I need to know about the grey matter between your thick skull.

Dude why is Michigan pulling recruits if winning matters? Underwood would have flipped if we were 10-0 right now… Winning isn’t the priority… Cash is king…

The kid from Nola was high on Oregon and seen as a lean to them when LSU was heading into the A&M game as playoff contender.

Winning matters to me and you as a fan and it matters to the players currently on the roster but winning as a recruit doesn’t have nearly the effect on recruiting you think it does in todays recruiting battles. It’s what can you provide for me financially right now.

If winning was the most important thing Indiana would be having recruits beating down the doors…
