Can we let the student enroll first before this board labels him a problem. You can’t predict the future.

I'll just add this...

When Jarvis Landry was being recruited there were folks saying he was a thug, had character issues, and wouldn't last a year at LSU.

He turned out to be an all-time great at LSU; not to mention a locker room and work ethic leader.

I bet you totally said the same thing when we heard about Joe Burrow doing this exact same thing. Right?

I feel like you could swap Devin White’s name in here and make the same statement. Though I believe Devin had an actual run-in with the law in HS.

But yeah, let’s just let it play out before we throw the kid off the team

He owned his poor behavior and apologized. A rare trait in the modern teenager.

I’m willing to give him a chance.

Good response by the kid. Can't wait to see what he does at LSU. Hope he gets a look at WR, but hear that we are planning to use him on defense.

I hope everyone can move on now. He deserves a second chance.

Would love to see him on offense as well.

Great on Ju’Juan for taking accountability on his actions and hope he can grow from that.

Once he gets on campus I’m sure he’ll be humbled and he’ll be fine.

He'll learn that everything he does is under a microscope. Thankfully it just looked bad and no one was hurt, or any laws broken.

He's an exciting player, and I look forward to him suiting up for LSU.

I been watching the kid for 4 years. Wow he is electric. But that kid needs an attitude adjustment. Piss poor body language. I saw him arguing with a coach when he threw pick 6 right before half yesterday. He didn’t want to go get his MVP trophy and when he got it, he threw it on the sidelines. Look I get it he’s a competitor and all but that’s just a bad look. Hopefully it works out for LSU with him

I am not saying it'll work out like this but when he got to campus, Jarvis Landry was a big headed, egotistical, nightmare and he matured in college to become the humble driven athlete that he turned into.

It doesn't always work out like that but a kid having a bad moment or developing a bad attitude could be a reflection of the players and staff he is surrounded by or be a result of too much fame too fast for a young adult. It could ruin him but it also could be something he grows out of.

Another example would be the Honey badger. Knucklehead in college that got it together and is a Walter Payton Man of the year candidate.

What was the score when he threw the interception and failed to try to stop the return? If they were trailing with no time left it didn't matter. Was it tied?

It was right before halftime. LCA was up 14-7 with 2 seconds remaining and instead of an Hail Mary in the endzone. They tried to throw a slant route and it got picked off and went back for 6 as the clock expired before halftime which made the score 14-14. Totally shifted the momentum after that.

Most kids good enough to go to schools like LSU have been messed up by adults heaping praise upon them in their formative years. Most end up maturing past that. This is not an issue.

Building a kid’s self esteem is better than tearing them down. I’m not trashing those doing the praising, but just saying kids have to learn how to process that as they mature.

I don't want to point fingers but...there's a reason a lot of LCA athletes turn out mediocre at the collegiate level. They're very undercoached and aren't used to not being treated with privledge just by virtue of being an athlete(especially since Trev Faulk has left).
