I’m glad your singular anecdotal story has absolutely no bearing on your view on his ability to get info across the entire recruiting landscape.

Lol @ thinking a stranger on the tronz “hurt my feelings” by talking bad about another person. You sound like a total dork.

You would think that if a kid is coming to visit you may mention he’s already committed to another school, no?

Oh that’s right your friends with Rashard Lawrence’s dad so you’re basically a recruiting guru.

This is correct.

I rarely have inside info, but had a little on Rashard.

Ohio State was much more of a player than most people thought.

He's not exactly wrong. I'd trust Embody and Shea's and probably a couple others' predictions more.

Milton leaning to GA, Evans to Bama. Doesn’t believe recent Evans to LSU talk. LSU most likely target is Ashaad Johnson.

Milton is going UGA but we’re #2 for Evans and it’s not over I also think we have Keyvone Lee above Ashaad (personally I’m low on a Ashaad)

quote:

He said out of Roy and Guillory that LSU is most likely to land Roy. Didn’t say LSU wouldnt get Guillory, but I found that comment interesting. I always assumed Guillory was LSU’s to lose.

Didn’t expect this honestly but after Guillory saying he’s announcing January 4th I can see it though if we get Roy I’ll definitely give up Guillory

quote:

He said LSU wants 4 WR in this class. Don’t count out Koy Moore.

If we miss on Guillory I could see a 4th WR I’d prefer someone else besides Koy though

quote:

He said despite Domio’s dicking around after committing he will likely still end up in class as of now.

I’m cool with this I’ve come around to Domio he’s very good

quote:

He had no clue who LSU would land next at OT, but that Dumervil was not a lock and Crawford has grade concerns.

I think we get Dumervil and Crawford sticks with Arky anyways

quote:

Basically no shot at Justin Flowe.

Sadly yes...Flowe is so good

I’m not talking down about the guy. I know Rashard Lawrence’s father, O got the Dline job and 3 days later Rashards father told me he was going to LSU. Jimmy projected him in Bamas class for 6 months, citing inside information. Late in the process he got cold feet and flirted with Ohio State but he never considered Bama. I’m using a real life event to provide context. Sorry if it hurt your extremely sensitive feelings.

This isn't 100% correct. Let me start by saying that being extremely accurate is beyond difficult, because things are so dang fluid with these kids/families. But, your post here isn't really what happened.

First off, let's address the convo you had with the father; That was one conversation at the beginning of his recruitment. Things can change my friend, which is why I report the way I do. LSU thought he had interest in Bama. Bama thought he had interest in Bama. Some of the people around him thought he had interest in Bama, which is why I became hesitant.

Here's my post from February 2015 regarding Lawrence.

LINK

"Lawrence is one of the most sought after prospects in the state, and rightfully so, but his family ties to LSU may be too much for everyone else to overcome. From what I gather, the hiring of Ed Orgeron as the defensive line coach is one the Lawrence's look at favorably, and Orgeron will prove very difficult for any in-state linemen to turn down."

And I am pretty sure I was also the first to report his interest in Ohio State. Anyways, it's not that big of a deal, but I felt like you are misrepresenting what actually happened.

I appreciate y'all for listening to the podcast. This was brought to my attention and I wanted to address. No ill will my friend. I just wanted to give my $.02

Hey man, great stuff! The context clues kinda give your identity away.

Really cool to hear the staff is so high on Bradford! You think Kardell Thomas and Bradford will both be playing in 2019??

Would you also like to shed some light on Rakim Jarret?!?

LOL--I wasn't trying to hide my identity. There are plenty of clues there LOL.

I think there is a path for Bradford to get on the field this fall as a potential starter. Kardell has more guys in front of him, so I think it will take him a bit longer.

I've been concerned about Jarrett and shared the info with others and they came away feeling the same way. LSU is really concerned.

Thanks Jimmy

What are your thoughts on Guillory waiting?
Opinion on Roy?

Anyone that’s been following crootin for awhile understands your dealing with 16-18 year olds that are being pushed and influenced from several directions. Nothing is set in stone till the fax is received by LSU.

Thanks for listening to the pod. I did that as kind of a marketing ploy of sorts. Only our members really know how I think on issues, so I thought that would be a good way to let others get a look as to the kind of stuff we discuss.

I find it funny that you have no issue with revealing who you are, but someone that everyone seems to believe 24/7 (Vol) never reveals who he truly is. I thank you for your honesty

I want to touch this one so badly, but I'm trying to change my abrasive approach as I grow in this profession.

I edited so I don't create any beef.

why does Vol owe you any information about himself?
I don't get that at all.
