Elias - “I’m coming to LSU”

Jermaine - “he’s just messin with y’all he pranking y’all. All you Ohio state fans... shut up”

Elias is obviously trolling OSU hard. Feel confident that he sticks with us. Burton appears to be solid as well

“buckeye fans getting they hopes up for no reason...”

~ Jermaine Burton

That comment was then ripped by Ohio State fans saying they are the real DBU, lol straight delusion over there.

I’ve never heard anyone even include OSU in the DBU conversation I can’t name a single one of their non-Saints DB’s in the last 20 years off the top of my head, and I don’t think they have any legitimate all-time greats either.

Michigan has a better historic all time defensive backfield than OSU and Michigan isn’t in the DBU conversation either

What's that tattoo on his chest? Looks to be some sort of "ripping" effect with animal claws.

You’re right. Fixed the comment to be more politically correct.

These are not, non-Saints players. Saints drafted 3 and traded for another.

Shadow staff agent. He has to earn some commission points. A spy has to keep spying...

I mean OSU has the most DBs drafted all time and the most since 2000

And OSU had Lattimore Conley and Hooker be first rounders in one year a couple seasons ago. 3 first round DBs in one draft.

Edit: not worried about Ricks flipping but an ignorant take had to be called out.

I saw Ricks' IMG post announcement on twitter and the entire comment feed is nothing but OSU fans. Gave me the douche chills.

I agree. OSU has a better claim to DBU than those swamp rats in Gainesville. #FACTS

Since 2000, LSU has twice as many DEFENSIVE BACK (to clarify for the dipshit below this post who felt the need to jump in mid conversation with a bunch of stats that weren’t relevant to the conversation) All-Americans as Ohio State, twice as many award winners, more DB’s drafted in rounds 1-4, and significantly more highly successful players in the NFL.

It’s an absolute joke for Ohio State to be acting like it’s some highly prestigious school for DB’s. I know that every Big Ten fan feels the need to correct the record when an SEC fan calls out their mediocrity, but sit this one out champ.

Ohio State isn’t in the same conversation as LSU, Florida, or Texas and it’s ignorant to imply otherwise because you have more late round picks who get cut after training camp than anyone else in the country.

Where are you getting this information?

Since 2000, Ohio State has 17 individual award winners. LSU has 14.

Since 2000, Ohio State has 9 consensus all-americans. LSU has 4.

Since 2000, Ohio State had 19 DBs drafted in rounds 1-4. LSU had 17.

And I'm not sure how you quantify this part:
quote:

significantly more highly successful players in the NFL.

However, Ohio State currently has 63 active players. LSU has 58. The average cap hit for Ohio State in 2019 is $2,441,012. LSU's is $2,828,181. I'm not sure if 400K is significant in NFL salary terms, but it doesn't feel like it.
