Exactly, who in their right mind especially today would believe any committed recruit is safe. Hell they aren't safe anymore even after they sign. College football has really become a massive joke! Pay to Play has blown college football out the water

Until the rules change, LSU is cooked.
LSU can develop all the relationships and all but there are at least 5 teams every year that can out pay LSU for the top players. The top players coached well will win every year in college football. Add in some teams that save up and splurge one or two years, like OM, and there are even more teams that outbid LSU.
I believe LSU's ceiling with this coaching staff and available money has a ceiling of top 10 in the country. Sadly that is probably what LSU has to look forward to for the next 10 years, unless a couple of LSU billionaires enter the fray.

This is dramatic. LSU can compete with NIL and will be fine. The LSU brand is massive. Texas lost couple of flips this week too, this is just the new world we all live in. Rest assured we will benefit and get our own flips in due time.

We know how to play the game, we’re just severely outgunned in the new landscape. Sucks but it is what it is.
