I can’t see Gaines starting considering the depth of this team. If he really improves, I suppose. But you’d be small with him on floor. And as of now you’d could say there’s 4-5 players that would be better for lineup to me. But he could really improve in year 2. Like you said, lots of possibilities. It’s incredible really from a month or two ago

I'd say unless we get Mitchell or Days comes back, we're likely done and I would be very pleased with this roster.

My thinking with Gaines...Gaines is 6’2” and has a freaky wingspan. Possibly the best defender on the team with Wilkinson and Colbert in the running. Reid, Miller, Pinson will do the scoring. Need a floor general and defensive presence out there too. Wade trusted him last year and I think Gaines is just scratching the surface.
If Knight/Fudge/Murray come in and takeover the 3 spot I could see that pushing Gaines back out of the lineup in favor of a bigger/stronger lineup.

I have not seen Eason play. We think he’s better than Colbert? Also, I don’t think Days has the handle or body control to play the 3 spot. He’s much better suited to play the 4.

Eason is a lot like like Emmitt Williams.
Colbert May be better offensively but not enough to override the grit and tone I think Eason will bring to team. The rest of the team are offensive guys. Just my opinion tho. Tons of variables

Wade did a radio interview with Culotta a week or two ago talking about potential transfer targets generally (no names of course.)
He mentioned that a big man was a target. This would be Reid apparently.
He also mentioned that a 3 or 4 position player who could be an offensive threat was possible, if available. I'm wondering if this would be filled by Days (if Days comes back).
Since we are in the last 4 remaining for Wheeler, I am guessing that he would be a take if he chooses LSU.
That's all that I've heard about potential recruits or transfers.

Yes. Fudge and O'Neal and Ezewiro are all on the roster. We are NOT taking Tre Mitchell.

We have contacted Q Guerrire a 6-7 G/F from Syracuse who will transfer if he doesnt get drafted. Averaged 14 pts and 8 boards starting every game for Cuse this season. Can play either big guard or small forward. Just finished his soph season.
